Every month you can visit your local Warhammer store to collect a miniature of the month for free, and from the 5th of October, we return to the untamed wilds of the Mortal Realms to recruit a formidable Chaos Warrior in celebration of our Chaos-themed Warhammer Day.
It might be Warhammer Age of Sigmar, but Chaos is still the dominant force across most of the eight realms. Clad in blackened iron armour, the Slaves to Darkness lay waste everything in their path as they enforce the will of the Ruinous Powers.
These miniatures will be available while stocks last, and they may differ from the one pictured. Ask your local store staff how to claim one. Take advantage of the in-store Pick ‘n’ Mix paints offer to get your Chaos Warrior looking as fearsome as possible – simply choose any 10 paints, and get the most expensive one free. They come in a handy box too, ideal for keeping your colours together for your latest project.
This month’s collectable coin looks to Kill Team: Hivestorm, the launch box for the new edition of Kill Team in which the Vespid Stingwings battle the Tempestus Aquilons under the shadow of the Massif Ballistus. It’s available while stocks last.
If you collect six different coins, you can grab a free presentation binder from your local store to show them off in, while stocks last. There’s space for 12 separate coins held in place with foam so they don’t scuff, and once you’ve filled it up, you can return and get another after amassing your next six different coins.
If you’re making the trip to your local store why not bring along a friend and introduce them to the incredible worlds of the Warhammer hobby? They will get to choose between a free Infernus Space Marine and a Stormcast Eternals Liberator, experience a painting tutorial for their new model, and learn how to play their first game of Warhammer 40,000 or Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
In addition, the Battle Honours programme rewards new hobbyists for completing a series of fun activities based around the key pillars of the Warhammer hobby: Collect, Build, Paint, Play, and Read.
Friends and colleagues might have shown an interest in Warhammer after carving through the endless swarms of Tyranids in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. So if they are constantly eyeballing your collection, or asking about the difference between the Space Marine Chapters, point them in the direction of the new Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2: Recruit Edition.
The perfect introduction to Warhammer 40,000, this box contains 12 miniatures – Lieutenant Titus, 10 Termagants, and a Ripper Swarm, as well as the tools you need to build and paint them, a two-player game designed to teach you the basics of Warhammer 40,000, and a 48-page handbook to introduce enquiring minds into the wider world of the 41st Millennium.
Finally, every store celebrates its anniversary each year with activities and exclusive items. There are two anniversary miniatures for 2024 – find your local store with the Store Finder below, including the brand new store opening in Rome, Italy. You can find them at 04 Via del Pellegrino, 94, 00186 – and they officially open on the 19th October 2024. As with every store opening, there will be special miniatures and other exclusive merch.
