Rise of Angmar™
Travel to the distant past of Middle-earth in Rise of Angmar, a new expansion that charts the fall of Arnor at the hands of the Witch-king, with updated army lists for the Good and Evil forces that fought this conflict, seven new Legendary Legions, and profiles for 13 characters from the period. A gripping campaign system links 22 new Narrative Play scenarios together to tell the story of Arnor’s decline, and pairs with an extensive lore section to give Middle-earth fans an in-depth summary of the whole tragic conflict.
Eärnur™, the Last King of Gondor™
Before being crowned as King of Gondor, Eärnur sought to slay the Witch-king personally, and nearly succeeded – but for a mishap with his terrified horse. Though he would later take up the crown and lead his country, he fell in the depth of Minas Morgul and ended the line of kings without an heir.
Eärnur, the Last King of Gondor is a powerful duelist able to defeat enemy champions with ease, and is included in both mounted and unmounted forms cast from Forge World resin.
Aranarth & Argadir, Heroes of Arnor™
Aranarth is First Chieftain of the Dúnedain and leads his ranger kin into battle at the fringe of Arnor’s battle line, while Argadir charges at the speartip of the Knights of Arnor to smash the enemy head-on. Both characters are skilled battlefield leaders for their respective forces, and this set contains a total of three miniatures – Aranarth on foot, and Argadir both mounted and on foot – cast in Forge World resin.
Knights of Arnor™
Arnor possessed a great many skilled knights, who were clad in the finest armour in the northern land and charged into battle on hardy steeds. This set contains two mounted knights armed with spears and shields, cast in Forge World resin.
Nazthák and the Shadow of Rhudaur™, Heroes of Angmar™
The orc chieftain Nazthák stretches the definition of ‘hero’ to its furthest extent, but this natural born scavenger is nonetheless a veteran of many battles who has a particular predilection for stealing equipment from fallen foes. In contrast, the mysterious spirit known as the Shadow of Rhudaur is a bold and relentless warrior enthralled into the Witch-king’s service, though none know their true origin or history.
Both miniatures are cast in Forge World resin.
Aldrac & Fráecht, Heroes of Carn Dûm™
Not all who march under the Witch-king’s banner are Orcs or monsters, as some Men swore allegiance to fight against their hated rivals in Arnor. Aldrac and Fráecht are two of the mighty Warlords who led their wildmen at Angmar’s behest – the former a powerful warrior pressessed of great natural strength, while the latter turned their devotion to the Witch-king into mystical chants that strengthened and invigorated their allies.
Both miniatures are cast in Forge World resin.
Warriors of Carn Dûm™
While the warriors of Arnor clad themselves in fine armour and wield well-forged weapons, the Men of Carn Dûm make do with raw strength, ferocity, and a solid helping of moxie. Their sheer determination and will to fight makes them dangerous opponents on the battlefield, with this pack of six Forge World resin miniatures featuring four warriors armed with spears and shields plus a Captain and Standard Bearer.
Werewolves of Angmar™
Though shape-changers of all kinds exist throughout the lands of Middle-earth, the Werewolves who now serve Angmar have long been stuck in their feral, beastly forms. This is hardly a drawback, however, as their irrepressible bloodlust and fearsome combat prowess makes them ideal hunters for the Witch-king, and their hunger for flesh is so easily turned against the armies of Arnor.
This pack contains two miniatures cast in Forge World resin.
Returning Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game Miniatures
Loads of classic kits are also back and up for pre-order now, starting with the noble pair of Círdan & Erestor – who aided the Men of the North in days long past – and the Lords of the Dúnedain. They’re joined by the Dúnedain of the North and the Rangers of the North – two sets of six miniatures cast in metal.
Expand your Good and Evil armies with more period-accurate miniatures, such as the four Kings of Men, King Arvedui and Melbeth the Seer, Gûlavhar, the Terror of Arnor, and the Shade of Angmar. They play especially well with the rules in Rise of Angmar, so give them a go.
Finally, the Warriors of Arnor collects 10 miniatures armed with spears and shields, led by a Captain and Standard Bearer. These models are cast in metal.
Morvenn Vahl: Spear of Faith
The Abbess Sanctorum of the Adepta Sororitas is one of the most powerful and influential figures in the Imperium – a High Lord of Terra no less – and yet rather than sit in the gilded spires of the Throneworld and administer her flock from afar, Morvenn Vahl plunges into battle herself to defend the Imperial faith. Just such a call reaches her in Morvenn Vahl: Spear of Faith by Jude Reid, and even the protestations of her advisors can’t stop her from hurtling to the aid of Ophelia VII.
This epic tale of heroism and ironclad faith against the worst killers in the galaxy – the Night Lords – is available to pre-order now in its regular hardback, ebook, and audiobook releases.
