With Angels of Death on its mid-season break, it's time for Hammer and Bolter to step to the fore once again!
The next wave of episodes is on its way very soon. In fact, the first of these is coming to Warhammer+ next week, on Wednesday the 6th of October, with two more following in the coming weeks.
To give you a taste of what you can expect from these action-packed, gore-soaked episodes, check out this sizzle reel.
So, what can we glean from this trailer? Let’s treat ourselves to some fanciful speculation!*
Fangs
Stars of the Show: Aspirants of the Space Wolves and a wizened lord of the Chapter. Did we hear him utter the name “Njal”? In any case, the guy in this screenshot is a dead ringer for Krom Dragongaze.
A Bad Day at the Office For: The native fauna of Fenris – and by the look of it, the aspirants of the Space Wolves too. After all, Fenris is home to quite the exhaustive list of super-deadly alpha predators.
Further Observations: Is it all… real or just some sort of game?
In the Garden of Ghosts
Stars of the Show: The Aeldari – specifically, a stern-looking Warlock and a murderous pack of Striking Scorpions.
A Bad Day at the Office For: The Ultramarines. By the look of it, they’re having an ESPECIALLY grim time – Roboute Guilliman, you may want to look away.
Further Observations: The effects of gravity mean very little to the Aeldari, clearly.
A Question of Faith
Stars of the Show: The Adepta Sororitas.
A Bad Day at the Office For: Chaos Cultists, heretics, and just about anyone else in the way of the Sisters of Battle.
Further Observations: If you don’t worship the God-Emperor, you chose poorly – the Adepta Sororitas have their game faces on and are showing no mercy. If you haven’t already done so, subscribe to Warhammer+ now to catch up with the first three instalments of Hammer and Bolter – not to mention all the episodes of Angels of Death, Loremasters, Citadel Colour Masterclass, and Battle Report. Plus, if you enjoy reading about the Warhammer hobby, you’ll love all of the classic publications in the Warhammer Vault too.
Remember, fresh content is being added with every passing week. This Wednesday was no exception – it saw the launch of Deep Strike, a brand new panel show that discusses and dissects all of the best bits from your favourite shows. Here’s what you can find on Warhammer+ from this week.
Angels of Death, meanwhile, returns to your screens in November. Why not get in on the action and become a subscriber today.
