The new edition of Warhammer 40,000 is now in full swing, and we’ve got some long-awaited miniatures coming next week to add some spice to your armies, plus some returning Middle-earth™ miniatures and Black Library books. Please note that there will be a queue system in effect next weekend on the Games Workshop webstore, though not on the Forge World store.
Lion El’Jonson
After the biggest cat nap in all of recorded history, the Primarch of the Dark Angels has awoken, and finds the state of the galaxy wanting. This formidable warrior now stalks the Imperium’s enemies across space, emerging from the shadows like a knight of legend. Armed with the blade Fealty and the Emperor’s Shield, he effortlessly carves through inhuman horrors in his quest to bring light to the Imperium Nihilus.
Boss Snikrot
Subterfuge isn’t the way most Orks do battle, but the Kommandos have elevated cunning beyond brute strength to terrifying effect (although they still use brute strength too!). Boss Snikrot’s obsession with the clandestine manner of warfare has turned him into a green spectre. Few can hide from the piercing gaze of his night vision goggles, and most of his enemies don’t realise they’re being stalked until the daggers he calls Mork’s Teeth have found their mark.
Commander Farsight
The rebellious Commander O’Shovah has returned in a custom, crimson XV-86 Supernova battlesuit to strike out against the enemies of the T’au Empire. A Master of Mont’ka, Farsight is an aggressive combatant who leads his separatist forces right into the heart of battle.
Two units of Iron Hills Dwarves are returning to the range for use in Iron Hills and Erebor Reclaimed armies.
Iron Hills Dwarf Warriors with Spears Warband
The Iron Hills Dwarves are doughty warriors with an unbending resolve, trained in the art of forming an impenetrable shield wall. This set of 14 resin miniatures includes a Captain, hand-picked for the role by Dain himself, and a banner bearer who raises the flag of the Iron Hills.
Iron Hills Dwarf Warriors with Mattocks Warband
Dwarves mine the earth with hardened mattocks, and common usage of these hefty tools has made them experienced enough to handle them effortlessly in battle. Few things can crack an Orc’s skull as handily as a two-handed mattock wielded by a furious Iron Hill Dwarf. This unit of 14 resin miniatures also contains a Captain and banner bearer.
Honourbound (Special Edition)
The Severina Raine novel Honourbound by Rachel Harrison is receiving a Special Edition hardback next week. This luxurious edition is signed by the author, individually numbered, and limited to 1,500 copies. Presented with a gorgeous leather-effect cover with an intricate design on the front, this book also features a red ribbon bookmark, and the short story Trials.
Cypher: Lord of The Fallen
With the Lion returning to the galaxy, there’s no better time to find out everything you need to know about the Fallen than now. Cypher: Lord of The Fallen by John French is a first-hand account of a breakout from an imperial jail by the most unreliable of Narrators, Cypher. Hunted by Adeptus Custodes and Imperial Assassins, Cypher’s goal is shrouded in mystery, but perhaps all will become clear in time. You’ll be able to pre-order it in hardback, eBook, or audiobook format next week.
Awakenings
Everyone believes that Inquisitor Astor Sabbathiel died nearly 100 years ago, shot at point-black range just before a warp storm consumed the Calaphrax Cluster. Reawakened in a distant Ecclesiarchy stronghold and in debt to a magos named Metik, Sabbathiel is called upon by the Ordo Hereticus to embark on a mission to earn their trust back, and in doing so is thrust headlong into a conspiracy that threatens the Imperium itself. Discover the dark secret along with Sabbethiel in Awakenings by George Mann, which will be available in paperback, eBook, and audiobook formats.
Rogal Dorn: The Emperor’s Crusader (French Edition)
The sixteenth instalment in the Horus Heresy Primarchs series is heading to release in French with Gav Thorpe’s Rogal Dorn: The Emperor’s Crusader. In this tale, the Emperor tasks four Primarchs with securing the worlds of the Occula Noctis, a sector that even his mighty psychic sight and the Astronomicon cannot pierce. Rogal Dorn needs to muster all of his tactical prowess and direct the Imperial Fists to victory. French readers can pre-order this story in hardback and eBook next week.
Sigismund: The Eternal Crusader (German Edition)
Sigismund believes that even after the Great Crusade, war will not end for the Imperium. Remembrancer Solomon Voss is keen to know why the greatest champion of the Legions holds this belief, and is granted a rare audience with the master of the Templars in Sigismund: The Eternal Crusader by John French. German readers can uncover the secrets of this mysterious order for the first time, in hardback and eBook format, available to pre-order next week.
This week on Warhammer+, you can tune in to a Loremasters episode that covers all of the background for the four new Harbingers that make their debut in the first book of the Dawnbringers series, which is available for pre-order now.
A new episode is also coming to the Warhammer Anthology series Hammer and Bolter. Everyone’s favourite twisted Chaos Space Marine, Lucius the Eternal, is the focus of the aptly named Eternal. The cursed duellist is attempting to rescue one of his comrades from torture within an Anti-Sensoirum chamber in a bleak fortress-monastery, but must first carve his way through the Space Marines of the Exorcist Chapter who stand in his way.
Next week on Warhammer Community we will be revealing a new Star Player for Blood Bowl, and taking a much closer look at Warhammer: The Horus Heresy - Legions Imperialis, including a look at the core concepts, and answers to your burning questions. We’ll also be talking about the upcoming Cerastus Knight Lancer, and sharing the best painted Space Marines and Tyranids from Leviathan.
