By decree of the Inquisition, Codex: Imperial Agents has been revealed, and with it a brand new miniature for the infamous Inquisitor Lord Torquemada Coteaz. This uncompromising individual is one of the finest Inquisitors ever to have graced the Ordo Malleus. After enduring decades of horrors in his tireless war against daemons and heretics, he may be facing his great challenge yet in a new Black Library book.
In Daemonhammer by Darius Hinks, the High Protector of the Formosa Sector reaches the limits of his endurance when sinister tidings from a forgotten corner of the sector threaten his position of power.
With a complement of agents, assassins, and interrogators at his disposal, Coteaz has purged entire systems of the taint of Chaos. But when this new threat emerges, he is faced with a terrible choice: abandon his throne to eager rivals, or cling to power by sacrificing his mortality. More malevolent forces work in the shadows, attempt to bend Coteaz to their will – can he resist their temptations, or will the Formosa Sector fall for good?
Daemonhammer will be released later this year in hardback, eBook, and audiobook formats, but it isn’t the only upcoming Black Library book concerning the Inquisition – the all-time classic Ravenor by Dan Abnett is getting the luxury anniversary edition treatment.
20 years after it was originally published, Ravenor returns in hardback with a classy new cover treatment featuring silver elements to celebrate such a fine vintage. The physical edition also comes with an introduction from Dan himself.
Gideon Ravenor is a pupil of the legendary Inquisitor Eisonhorn. With a ruined body, Ravenor relies on his prodigious psychic talents and band of lethal operatives to perform his duties, and he travels to the Angelus sub-sector to expose the mastermind of a drug ring… before being sucked into a far deeper conspiracy.
The anniversary edition of Ravenor will be released later this year – stay tuned to Warhammer Community for more news.
