It is time once again for us to bid farewell to a handful of miniatures from the Middle-earth range. Many will be making a return at some point in the future, but if you’ve been eyeing any of them up , be sure to order them before 6pm BST on Sunday the 11th of September, which is when they’ll go off sale.
We are excited to usher in the Age of Men with the return of some long-awaited classics for the forces of Gondor, Númenor, and the Men of the South!
Blackroot Vale Commanders
Skilled bowmen, renowned for their pinpoint precision, the Men of the Blackroot Vale are among the finest archers in Gondor. These commanders have been entrusted to bolster the resolve of their allies and inspire them to fight their hardest.
BoromirTM (Mounted)
Boromir is one of the finest swordsmen that Gondor has ever known, and fearlessly puts himself between danger and his allies – shielding them from harm, time and time again. When mounted, Boromir becomes an even more formidable combatant, capable of smashing his way through all but the toughest opponents.
Elendil and Isildur
Skilled warriors and stoic commanders, Elendil and his son Isildur ruled the greatest kingdom of Men in Middle-earth, leading their followers into the battle of the Last Alliance without fear. It was there that Elendil’s heroic sacrifice gave Isildur the chance to cut the One Ring from the Dark Lord’s hand, bringing Sauron’s plans to dominate Middle-earth grinding to a halt.
HaradrimTM King
Cunning and ruthless in equal measure, the Kings of the Haradrim protect their rule with an iron fist. They are adept warriors with years of fighting experience earned through inter-tribe wars, skilled in the art of dispatching their foes from foot or horseback.
Mahûd King
Those who rise to lead the tribes of the Mahûd are some of the strongest and most ferocious warriors in the southlands. Leading by example, Mahûd Kings are quick to throw themselves into the thick of the fighting, dispatching their foes with flurries of crushing blows.
Mahûd Raiders
In the arid deserts of southern Harad, the Mahûd have found camels to be far more useful than horses for traversing the landscape and riding into battle. The brutal warrior-tribesmen strap shards of broken Mûmak tusks to their stubborn mounts, using the momentum of their charge to skewer and impale those foolish enough to stand their ground.
Mahûd Warrior Warband
The warriors of the Mahûd are strong and vicious, wielding crude weapons made of rock and bone with wild ferocity. The Mahûd will often soften up their opponents by showering them with toxin-laced darts from their blowpipes, before charging headfirst into the fray. There are a total of 12 Mahûd models in this set.
These are due to return this October. Until then, keep watching the Warhammer Community website, and sign up for our newsletter to be kept up to date on the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game and all things Warhammer!
