After some much-needed rest over the summer months, everyone’s favourite gretchin has returned. You’d better get ready for an explosive festive revolushon, because Da Red Gobbo is back!
This year, the debatably lovable little scamp is found at a chimney, poised to deliver a fizzing surprise to the lucky inhabitants. What a blast they’re about to have!
You can see from the stack of presents that the little blighter actually has some pretty fancy gifts, including a paint brush and some paints – lots of explosives too. Clearly whoever is on the receiving end of this sparking surprise has been naughty.
Originally a Revolushionary with an incendiary heart, this crafty little philanthropist has lately become quite smitten with the idea of Christmas. He’s had many incarnations over the years, each with their own rules.

Some say that the Red Gobbo is a title that plucky little gretchen adopt when they are motivated beyond all sense of personal wellbeing to fight for what they believe is right.
This certainly seems to be the case in Da Gobbo Rides Again by Rhuairidh James, when an ork painboy called Stimma manages to create his very own Red Gobbo – with unexpected consequences.
