There are ‘just’ two products coming to pre-orders next Saturday, but they’re both huge deals.
We begin with Kill Team, which gets its latest big-box expansion.
Kill Team: Termination
We’ve been vacationing on Bheta-Decima for a while now, and despite the attractive beachfront atmosphere, the other holidaymakers have all been a touch belligerent. Two more groups have arrived to soak up the atmosphere, and they’re already at each other’s throats.
This box contains two full kill teams: the Hernkyn Yaegirs – hardy scouts from the Leagues of Votann – and Genestealer Cults Brood Brothers. The first of these is an all-new unit using new sprues, while the second force is made of the existing Cadian Infantry frames with new Brood Brothers upgrade parts, plus some other existing miniatures from the Genestealer Cults range.
You also get an 88-page rulebook containing lore and rules for both teams, plus new missions and other additional rules, as well as two complete token sheets for both factions, two sets of datacards for the individual operatives, two decks of assets, tactical ploys, and strategic ploys, and two transfer sheets containing hundreds of decals for each faction. There are also some new terrain pieces: two Termination Plasma Genatoriums.
Lelith Hesperax: Queen of Knives (Limited Edition)
The deadliest gladiator to grace the sands of Commorragh has been absent for some time, wandering the stars with a coterie of mysterious Ynnari death cultists, but an assassin’s blade drags Lelith Hesperax back to the Dark City for a blood-soaked return to form in Mike Brooks's new novel, Lelith Hesperax: Queen of Knives. Pretenders to Lelith’s crown have infested the arena in her absence, and with Asdrubael Vect himself pulling the strings of a murderous game, her blades may not be enough to save her this time.
This novel is available first in a lavish Limited Edition release this Saturday, with an especially dark and dramatic cover embossed with red foil lettering on the spine and rear. Each copy is signed by the author and appended with an afterword, and includes a full-colour illustration of Lelith inside the cover.
Battle Report celebrates the release of the momentous 500th issue of White Dwarf with a classic Duardin vs Orruk showdown – with a twist. Grombrindal himself is on the field to knock some green heads in, and Kruleboy commander Nick will have his work cut out for him as his opponent – Warhammer Studio designer John – wrote the custom scenario they’ll be playing!
Here at Warhammer Community, we’re continuing on our safari through the factions of Warhammer Age of Sigmar with a new Faction Focus every weekday starting with the Cities of Sigmar. There’s also more to see from Kill Team: Termination – including some juicy Warhammer 40,000 rules for the Leagues of Votann – so make sure you don’t miss a single day of reveals.
