It’s spikes versus telescopic limbs, robes versus trim, the corrupting influence of the warp versus the pure and unalloyed power of machinery – tune in to find out who will triumph.
The Adeptus Custodes are equipped with some of the finest weapons known to the Imperium, meanwhile. Their iconic guardian spears and castellan axes have been the end of many a heretic threat or xenos horror, with power blades designed during the Unification Wars that crackle with energy in a manner quite different to those wielded by their Astartes allies.
Painting these unique weapons is a challenge that Citadel Colour Masterclass is well up to, and Ed has devised a cracking method for capturing their crackling forms that you can apply to your own Custodian Guard.
Finally, with the T’au Empire rapidly expanding to spread the Greater Good to the uninitiated, they must employ a number of auxiliaries – like the carnivorous Kroot – to help supplement their military efforts.
Loremasters this week is all about the auxiliaries and allies who work with the T’au Empire to further their own agendas, contribute to the Greater Good, and survive a galaxy full of hungry horrors and ancient nightmares.
