If there’s one thing that the worlds of Warhammer could use a little more of, it’s love. The constant wars and oaths of vengeance can really put a damper on the Valentine’s season, so we asked each faction to put their heads together and whip up a card for your gifting pleasure.
…Not many responded, truth be told, but those who stepped up clearly put their heart and soul into the project. It doesn’t look like the Orks quite understood the concept, but they displayed a lot of enthusiasm for what is ultimately a predominantly red holiday.
The Adepta Sororitas and Kharadron Overlords took a little bit of convincing, devoted as they are to their God-Emperor and huge stacks of cash respectively – but they both delivered some impressive results! Though, er, you might not want to actually sign the Kharadron card. We’re not sure if it’s legally binding.
Our communitarian residents of the far future were much more keen to lend a hand – although we can’t help but suspect some ulterior motives on the part of the local Genestealer Cult. The T’au Water Caste also jumped at the opportunity to promote unity through non-violent messaging, but what love could surpass the bond between a Fire Warrior and their battlesuit?
Although their exploits in the newest Warhammer 40,000 battlebox were far more murderous in nature, it was nice to see two bitter rivals from Eldritch Omens set aside their enmity (if not their weapons) for a brief moment, simply to celebrate romance on the war-torn planet of Deathe.
