Reaving servants of Chaos, hunters and monsters from the underhive, short sportsmen with immaculate beards, paragons of life and death ready to battle over the Gnarlwood... there's a little something for everyone coming to pre-orders this week.
Chaos Knights, Chariots, and More
Add some armoured punch to your Warriors of Chaos force with the individual release of Chaos Knights in units of 10, and Chaos Chariots in pairs – which can also be built as stampeding Gorebeast Chariots. Sweep away the survivors with a box of 10 Marauder Horsemen, a box of 20 Chaos Warhounds, and a box of 32 Chaos Marauders. Every set, bar the Chaos Warhounds, comes with the new Warriors of Chaos transfer sheet.
Lady Haera in Sthenian-pattern Hunting Rig
Lady Haera Helmawr only just survived a brutal war for succession after the attempted assassination of her father. Reunited with her brother Tamino at Hive Secundus, she delved into its depths to recover an ancient spyrer suit in order to regain her rightful status. You can petition Lady Haera in Sthenian-pattern Hunting Rig to aid your gang with this expert kit made from Forge World resin. She's equipped with a teleporting power spear, a powerful phase sword, and all the deadly bells and whistles associated with such a singular hunting rig.
Hermiatus, The Second Son
Twisted beyond recognition but no less terrifying, Malstrain Genestealers are the work of a rogue Tech-Priest who sought to experiment on the fearsome xenos before letting them loose in Hive Secundus. Long since dead, Hermiatus, The Second Son, now lives on courtesy of the gestalt consciousness of the Malstrain, reborn in flesh and steel to stalk the Underhells and continue his nefarious experimentations. This miniature is made from Forge World resin.
Malstrain Coalescence
Few beasts on Necromunda are as grotesque as the Malstrain Coalescence. This unholy amalgam of Genestealer and human is a psychic abomination born in the irradiated depths of the Underhells, using Wyrd Powers to dominate its enemies with the might of the Broodmind. This miniature is made from Forge World resin.
Malstrain Alpha
The horrific apex of the corrupted Genestealer brood, the Malstrain Alpha is a deadly hunter that inspires cold-blooded dread in those that catch the merest glimpse. Rumoured to be directly descended from the Malstrain Patriarch, this creature can twist its body through the smallest cracks between bulkheads. Its prey rarely live to tell the tale, and the successful slaying of the beast has become the aim of many a Spyre Hunting Party. It is made from Forge World resin.
The Zharr-Naggrund Ziggurats
The NAF is over. The leagues are open. The Chaos Dwarfs have returned to Blood Bowl to show the rest of the world how it’s done. Hailing from the Dark Lands, these cantankerous dwarfs are itching for a brawl.
The Zharr-Naggrund Ziggurats are the most famous Chaos Dwarf team, and come in a set of 14 plastic miniatures, comprising six Hobgoblin Linemen, two Hobgoblin Sneaky Stabbas, four Chaos Dwarf Blockers, and two Chaos Dwarf Flamesmiths. This box also contains two double-sided Blood Bowl coins, two turn and re-roll markers, four balls, and a Chaos Dwarfs team transfer sheet.
Chaos Dwarf Bull Centaurs
Those Chaos Dwarfs lucky enough to receive Hashut's greatest blessings might become Chaos Dwarf Bull Centaurs, coming one step closer to the idealised form of their deity. With iron-shod hooves and massive bodies, these brutish bovines become unbeatable blitzers in Blood Bowl, bashing their way through even the most tightly-knit defensive line. This pack contains two Bull Centaurs, made from Forge World resin.
H’thark the Unstoppable
If you have 300,000 gold pieces and a desire to crush your opponent's team like ripe fruit, then the unconscionably violent and unspeakably named H'thark the Unstoppable is the Star Player for you. He can play for Badlands Brawl or Favoured of Hashut teams, throwing all 1,800lbs of his immense bulk into the fray, living up to his epithet. He's made from Forge World resin.
Zzharg Madeye
The Chaos Dwarfs are fine engineers and inventors of vastly destructive war machines... but nobody has any time for that sort of nonsense while there's Blood Bowl to be played! Zzharg Madeye has turned his blunderbuss into an effective tool for dominating the pitch, whether he's blasting other players at point-blank range or launching the ball far above the heads of his opponents. He's made from Forge World resin.
Chaos Dwarfs Dice Set, Team Card Pack, and Pitch
Ensure you have Hashut's full attention when playing with all the requisite accessories. The Chaos Dwarf Dice Set contains two regular six-sided dice, three block dice, an eight-sided scatter dice, and a 16-sided dice, all cast in bronze effect plastic with red pips and icons. The Chaos Dwarf Team Card Pack is a 44-card deck featuring all of your rules reference cards, three Star Player cards, 16 new Special Play cards, plus a set of blank positional cards. Lastly, you'll need somewhere to play: the Chaos Dwarf Team Pitch & Dugouts set contains a double-sided pitch set in the throat of an active volcano, with rules for the oppressive heat and pools of lava – you also get matching dugouts.
Spike! Journal – Issue 18
The most auspicious sporting periodical in all the land returns – Spike! Journal - Issue 18 is here, and it's packed full of information on the Dark Lands. The full history of the Chaos Dwarfs' time in (and out) of Blood Bowl is featured alongside their rules, insightful columns, and all the rules you need to play new Wasteland leagues. If you'd prefer to read it on one of your new-fangled electronic devices, an ePub version is also available.
The Twistweald
The Sylvaneth are the vengeful arbiters of the arboreal, dedicated to protecting the glades and forests of the Mortal Realms. Malformed and enraged by a deadly parasitic infection born in the Gnarlwood, the Twistweald are self-isolating pariahs led by a Swarmsage whose flittering spites gnaw away at the infection to keep it at bay. They venture into the most dangerous wilds to slaughter the enemies of the Everqueen, venting their rage in the process. This set contains eight miniatures, and 16 Warcry rules cards.
Teratic Cohort
Those Ossiarch Bonreapers who fail to perform to the viciously exacting standards of Nagash may find themselves remade in derisory bestial forms, and put to work in the Teratic Cohorts who are continually observed by Mortisans through monocular nadirite eyes embedded in their skulls. This set contains eight miniatures, and 16 Warcry rules cards.
The Ravening Gnarloak we mentioned last Sunday has been slightly delayed, meanwhile.
Above and Beyond
Relegated to a life in a cell, the Imperial propagandist Kile Simlex receives a mysterious request for help, supposedly from fighter ace Lucille von Shard, the subject of one of his previous propaganda tapes. On journeying to Deighton, an Imperial world in open rebellion, he finds von Shard as a shadow of her former self, the weight of years of war weighing heavily. The fate of the planet is in the balance, and Simlex must help her regain her confidence and take on the near-invincible xenos mercenary in Above and Beyond by Denny Flowers. You can pre-order it in hardback, eBook, or audiobook formats now.
Siege of Terra: The End and The Death: Volume III
The final instalment of the Siege of Terra series, and the capstone to the entire Horus Heresy saga, The End and The Death: Volume III is now available to pre-order in paperback. Written by Dan Abnett, this is the mind-bending, time-shredding and reality-warping battle between father and son that seals the fate of the grim, dark future forever.
Carcharodons: Outer Dark
The Carcharodons are savage hunters who patrol the dark edges of Imperial space, and are among the most brutal of Space Marine Chapters. Their position puts them right on the frontline against the invading hive fleets of the Tyranids, and in preparation, they turn the world of Piety V into a bulwark. In mobilising the planet's defenders against the impending doom, they soon have to reckon with the value of mortal lives. Robbie MacNiven's classic Carcharodons: Outer Dark is available to pre-order in audiobook format now, on a one-week pre-order.
Lazarus: Enmity’s Edge (French Edition)
The Knight World of Reis is in danger of being consumed by the Warp, and its rulers have called in an old favour to save themselves from a terrible fate. Lazarus and his Dark Angels 5th Company are summoned to their aid by Supreme Grand Master Azrael, but what they find is a planet wracked with conflict, vulnerable in the face of an ancient evil that, much like Lazarus, refuses to die. Gary Kloster's Lazarus: Enmity's Edge is now available to pre-order in paperback and eBook for French readers.
Everything here is available now, on a two-week pre-order window, unless otherwise stated.
