October is the spookiest month – the perfect time to settle down with some Warhammer Horror or to meet up with friends to play Warhammer Quest: Cursed City and its first expansion, Nightwars. To celebrate the re-release of this action-packed cooperative game, you’ll also be able to pick up a free Cursed City miniature at your local Warhammer store.
You can grab one for yourself from the 8th of October – ask the friendly staff in your store about how you can get one when they’re available.
While you’re in store, pick up the paints you need to get your free miniature ready for battle with the Pick ‘n’ Mix Paint Set offer. If you buy 10 paints, you’ll get the most expensive one for free.
For a member of the skeletal Ulfenwatch, you could try Morghast Bone, Iron Hands Steel, Skeleton Horde, Gryph-hound Orange, Volpus Pink, Lupercal Green, Black Templar, Agrax Earthshade, Cygor Brown, and Pallid Wych Flesh as used in the Citadel Colour painting guide.You can also pick up October’s collectible coin of the month, which is also Cursed City-themed. Sadly, you won’t be able to use it to buy your freedom if you’re captured by Gorslav the Gravekeeper. It’s available from the 1st of October. Ask the store staff how you can claim this month’s coin.
How’s your coin collection going? If you have at least six different ones, you can pick up a free album to store them in – ask in store how you get one for yourself.
Warhammer Quest: Cursed City is a great way to introduce friends into the worlds of Warhammer. If they’re ready to take their next steps, bring them into your local Warhammer store, where they can get their first miniature for free – a choice of a Space Marine or a Stormcast Eternal. They can learn how to paint their miniature, have their first game of Warhammer 40,000 or Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and sign up for the Battle Honours programme.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers™ and the current buzz around all things Middle-earth, new hobbyists will soon have the chance to pick up a free Warrior of Minas Tirith miniature in store. Once assembled, you’ll be able to sit down and paint your new model, and you’ll even be able to play your first game of the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game in some stores*.
