This week on Warhammer+, the anthology prequel series Angels of Death: Origins returns with another episode following the past lives of the crew of the Sword of Baal.
In The Company of Death follows the story of Kazarion prior to his deployment in the Deathwatch, alongside the Chaplain Rafael. The pair are venturing deep into territory held by the putrescent Death Guard in order to rescue their missing battle-brother, Lucretius.
As they search, Kazarion laments the futility of the mission, and we get to see Rafael deliver his wise counsel. Along the way the pair do battle with grotesque Plague Marines and vile Poxwalkers, as the pull of the Black Rage threatens to overcome them both.
You’ll have to watch the episode on Warhammer+ to find out what awaits the duo at the end of their gruelling mission. It’s there alongside the rest of Angels of Death: Origins and the whole of Angels of Death recut as a 168-minute film, available to everyone with a Warhammer+ subscription.
To coincide with the release of In The Company of Death we’ve created some excellent Angels of Death T-shirts using art from the series – they’re cool enough to stave off your own Black Rage.
Grab them right now along with all sorts of other Warhammer t-shirts, mugs, and more on the Warhammer Merchandise store.
