The amazing new Kill Team: Nachmund boxed set is available to pre-order tomorrow. We sent the miniatures to some incredible painters to celebrate – here are the jaw-dropping results.
Adam R, Siege Studios
Adam has painted his Butcher as a member of the vicious Night Lords. The whole paint job has a clear, crisp look, and a fresh splatter of Blood for the Blood God that really gives the miniature a big boost.
Colin Ward
Colin has painted his miniatures as Sons of Horus, and converted his Heavy Gunner with a Phaistos pattern heavy flamer, while his Butcher has been armed with weapons from the Corpse Grinder Cult Gang kit.
Crystal McHaffie
Crystal’s Kurnite Hunter has been subtly converted so that it looks like their pet Faolchú is beating its wings. We just hope this brightly-painted bird doesn’t ask where that feather in the Hunter’s hair came from…
Emma Durrant
Hot on the heels of Emma’s darker take on Dominion Zephon comes this Kurnite Hunter, who features some beautiful flashes of colour that stand out perfectly against the dark armour.
Emma Svensson
Emma has painted the Soul Weaver from the boxed set in her signature style – this cross-hatched mystic looks more than ready to win a mind war with the Balefire Acolyte.
Jack Hunter
Jack has painted his Legionary kill team in the classic colours of the Horus Heresy-era World Eater Legion. If we were the Corsair Voidscarred, we’d be worried – these boys look ready to kill, maim, and burn, all with the blessings of Khorne.
Jessica Smart
Jessica’s fantastic Way Seeker wouldn’t look out of place alongside the Draconith she painted last year. Anyone who says that leopard print is out of style has been shown just how wrong they are.
Kelly Freiborg
Kelly has reposed her Shade Runner, giving this teleporting terror a poised look that perfectly captures the aloof nature of the Aeldari.
Máryse Ouellet
It seems like only yesterday that Máryse was converting Fafnir Rann into Drakus Gorod of the Ultramarines – now they've created an Ultramarine that has pledged himself to Chaos. What would Roboute Guilliman think?
Mikko Luoma
Mikko has painted up a Night Lords Shrivetalon with incredibly realistic flayed skin – if we have nightmares tonight, we’ll know why.
Nicholas Lambourn, Siege Studios
Nicholas has painted a Way Seeker as the yin to the yang of the cool blue Warlock he recently painted for us… or should that be the other way around?
Tyler Mengel
Finally, we have Tyler’s awesome Shrivetalon from the Crimson Slaughter warband.* The tattoo on the flayed skin is the horrifying cherry on top.
Thanks, all! These are just a few amazing examples of what you can do with the stunning miniatures from the Kill Team: Nachmund boxed set – from swashbuckling Corsairs to menacing Legionaries.
