Get Your Teef Into The Ork Warboss Who Finally Caught Da Great White Squig

The legend of Da Great White Squig has been told by Beast Snagga Orks for many years and now, as fresh new hordes of monster-hunting Orks flood the Octarius sector, the truth behind the myth emerges once more.

To those Snakebites who fight under him, Mozrog Skragbad is a totemic figure blessed by both Gork and Mork, not to mention the ‘ardest git in the galaxy.* Now almost entirely bionics, scar tissue, and bad attitude, he’s legendarily tough, even by Ork standards, and bullets, lasers, and rockets seem to bounce harmlessly off him.

All that durability is in service to one thing, of course, and that’s getting stuck into a fight with the biggest monsters and vehicles around. Mozrog hits like a cruise missile with his unique klaw Gutrippa, and Big Chompa is only too happy to tear into enemy armour with gigantic, razor-sharp teeth.

Where they truly shine, however, is in bringing down Titanic targets as though they were wriggling squighogs. A lifetime spent breaking in ferocious trampla squigs and even bigger monstrosities leave Beast Snagga Warbosses with just the right skills to bring down the largest prey.

In fact, if you don’t fancy bringing Mozrog along (or you aren’t playing a Snakebites army) and your Warlord doesn’t fancy foot-slogging it with da boyz, then the same kit also builds a Beastboss on Squigosaur, who forgoes the great white squig for an only slightly less mean red one.

They can of course be equipped with a range of powerful Relics and Warlord Traits to truly customise their capacity for carnage, such as an ostentatious Beasthide Mantle which is so thick with trophy hides that attackers can struggle to even find the Ork within.

Can’t decide who to bring on your next big hunt? Why not both? Even though a Warboss can’t have competition in his own Detachment, you can have multiple Patrols or Battalions in your army to represent the intense rivalry between warbands even when they’re ostensibly on the same side.

They’re plenty killy on their own, but if you really want to dial their deadliness up to 11, bring along one of the Beast Snaggas’ own psychic Wurrboyz to grant the gifts of Gork and Mork to your squig-riding boss.

Did you pick up the Beast Snagga Army Box, or do you have an army you’d like to show off in proper Orky style? Post your pictures on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and prove to all the other so-called Warbosses that your boyz are the biggest and the greenest around.

* Except maybe Ghazghkull Thraka, although that would be a long old fight.
