As a major part of the Imperial war machine, much of the toil on the hive world of Necromunda centres around its great manufactorums, which pump out weapons in their billions to feed the endless wars.
This month’s Apocrypha Necromunda zeroes in on the claustrophobic arenas of death that Necromunda’s sorting depots become when gangs clash. Over to Owen from the Necromunda Design Team for more.
In this instalment, we take the fight to the Nexus, the great cargo sorting yards of Hive Primus. Amid the millions of Munitorum containers constantly arriving from the planet’s hive cities, House Orlock keeps watch over many thousands of workers and machines for their allies in the Guild of Coin.
When the Great Pilgrimage overtook Hive Primus, the Nexus became a battleground between Orlocks and Redemptionist pilgrims. Both sides fought running (and rolling) vehicle battles through a cavernous maze of container canyons, jockeying for the ultimate prize – control of the great cargo hoists that form the gateway to the lower Hive City, and the spire beyond.
In addition to a brand new scenario – Container Canyon Run – in this month’s article, you will find rules for a new Article of Faith. The Path of Prophet allows players to create Cawdor gangs dedicated to the word of the Prophet of the Redemption in all his mysterious glory!
Cheers Owen! You can download the Nexus of Violence rules through the button below, and perhaps think about adding some Munitorum Armoured Containers to your collection to create your own sprawling cargo sorting yard.
