It continues to be a very dangerous time in the Mortal Realms, as the Dawnbringer Crusades narrative comes to a literally explosive end in the sixth and final book in the series. It’s joined by fresh reinforcements for the forces of Chaos, and a massive Made to Order range of Warhammer 40,000 terrain.
Dawnbringers: Book VI – Hounds of Chaos
Embergard and Verdigris, the two Free Cities founded by the Twin-Tailed Crusade, have one final trial to overcome as the Dawnbringers saga comes to a close in Dawnbringers: Book VI – Hounds of Chaos. Abraxia, Spear of the Everchosen, has come to put an end to Sigmar’s designs, and one city will fall as the forces of Chaos gather for a massive attack on the domains of Order.

There are also two Armies of Renown – the Swords of Chaos, comprised of Abraxia and her loyal Varanguard, and the Tribes of the Snow Peaks, a muscular throng of Darkoath – along with loads of awesome narrative rules, artwork, miniatures galleries, and reams of lore advancing the story of Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

Brand’s Oathbound

Darkoath: A Gunnar Brand Novel
After a disaster wipes out the leadership of his tribe, Gunnar Brand takes on the chieftain’s mantle and sets out on a perilous exodus across Aqshy in Darkoath by Chris Thursten. However, dark powers follow their every move, and the bloody slaughter committed by Brand’s Oathbound may be just enough to earn Gunnar the attention of his own patrons – and a place along the Path to Glory.

Darkoath Chieftain on Warsteed
Darkoath are just as good at riding horses as they are butchering their enemies, and those who rise to become Chieftains invariably have plenty of experience fighting from horseback. Mounted on a tough and temperamental warsteed, these elevated leaders strike heads from shoulders with thunderous head-on charges and lead their cavalry into battle screaming oaths at the top of their lungs.
This multipart plastic kit comes with two weapons – an axe or a sword – and three head options, as well as two different bladed headpieces for the warsteed.
Darkoath Wilderfiend
Venerated for the protection they offer Darkoath tribes, but feared for the sacrifices they demand, the monsters called Wilderfiends are former champions who failed to uphold their sworn oaths and so were mutated into wild and vicious beasts. Their aid in battle can be bought only with ample offerings, but their strength, sorcery, and insatiable bloodlust mean many Darkoath consider it a cost well spent.
This multipart plastic kit builds a single Wilderfiend with interchangeable neck, head, tusk, and horn options.
Darkoath Marauders
The bulk of a Darkoath horde is made up of its Marauders – the fighting-age men and women of the tribe, carried by years of brutal fighting experience and ruthless oathsworn fury. This unit of 10 Darkoath Marauders has dozens of customisation options, from heads and shields to your choice of two weapon types, as well as parts to furnish your unit with a Doombeater, Icon Bearer, and a Darkoath Champion.
Darkoath Fellriders
Fellriders are the light cavalry of Darkoath tribes, using raw speed to raid enemy lines. They gallop across the battlefield and hurl javelins into tightly packed opponents before wheeling away into the distance. This unit of five miniatures can be equipped with either javelins or vicious blades, and can also be extensively customised with 15 head options, interchangeable mount accessories, and gear to mark two riders as an Icon Bearer and Hornblower.
Nexus Chaotica
Corrupt the battlefield with the Nexus Chaotica, a sinister terrain piece that builds power in its blazing core before unleashing it to warp the fabric of reality. Friendly WIZARDS may find their powers surging as chaotic energy courses through them, or the land around battlefield objectives can buckle and warp to hinder your foe – it’s up to you.
Sekhar, Fang of Nulahmia
Now returned from her mission to parlay with Ushoran, Mortarch of Delusion, Sekhar is ready to mesmerise and murder in her first standalone release. This beautiful plastic kit builds a ferocious combat master who even the most skilled swordsmen will struggle to land a blow on. She can go to war as part of the Soulblight Gravelords, as well as in her personal Army of Renown – the Scions of Nulahmia – whose rules can be found in Dawnbringers: Book IV – The Mad King Rises.
Krethusa the Croneseer
Lead your renegade aelves away from Morathi-Khaine’s shadow and into the embrace of Morai-Heg with Krethusa the Croneseer, a powerful Daughters of Khaine sorceress who uses prophetic magics long thought lost to guide her kin to a better future. Rules for using Krethusa and her Army of Renown – the Croneseer’s Pariahs – can be found in Dawnbringers: Book V – Shadow of the Crone.
