Give Lord Leech His Rotten Due With This Month's Free In-Store Model and Coin

RetailMiniRotmireCreed Aug2 Header

The new edition of Warcry is so close we can feel it?  Can you smell the twin scents of brimstone and rot in the air? Or feel that sensation of crawling on your skin?  We can, welcome to the Gnarlwood…We’re celebrating this massive new Warcry launch box in a number of ways – including free, downloadable rules for more than 40 warbands. But to whet the appetites of visitors to Warhammer stores this month, we’re going one better – a completely free model for you to collect, build, and paint.

This putrid punk is a Mirefolk Outcast, a grimy junior member of the Rotmire Creed warband who’s arrived in the Gnarlwood at the behest of his mirky masters to seek grime and glory. You can collect this model from your local Warhammer store from Saturday the 13th of August (while stocks last) – speak to your store manager to find out more.

Why not get your new miniature painted by taking advantage of the Citadel Colour Pick ‘n’ Mix Paint Set. Choose any 10 paints, and you’ll get the most expensive one free!   Pick up some Orruk Flesh, a pot of Castellan Green, or perhaps other colours like Grey SeerDryad Bark, Mournfang Brown and Lupercal Green. Add some Contrast Paints like Skeleton Horde and Black Legion to the mix and maybe some Shades like  Nuln Oil and Agrax Earthshade and you’ll be creating plague ridden fighters that will stink the joint up with mouldy aplomb in no time.

If you’re new to painting, our helpful staff in store will be able to give you some top tips on choosing paints and show you simple techniques to get your Mirefolk ready for action. Keep an eye on the Citadel Colour website for more painting tutorials.

While you’re in store, you can also pick up August’s commemorative coin, which is available from Saturday the 6th of August. Ask staff how you can get your hands on yours.

Already got a burgeoning Warhammer coin collection? When you’ve collected at least six different examples, you’ll be able to get this beautiful display album to really show off your shiny trinkets.

Why not bring down a friend and introduce them to Warhammer? They’ll get a free Space Marine or Stormcast Eternal starter miniature and be able to play an exciting game in store, they can also sign up for the Battle Honours programme.  What’s more, they can even get a free lesson in how to paint their new model!

Find out more about our store experience and sign up for our newsletter to keep up to date with all of the latest from the worlds of Warhammer.

There are numerous store anniversaries coming up in August. Head on down to your local joint to join the party, and you’ll be able to pick up exclusive miniatures and other swag.
