Warhammer+ is just two weeks away, and it’s one of the biggest things ever to happen to the Warhammer hobby.
Sign up and you get access to an ever-growing selection of fantastic animated series, in-depth videos covering every aspect of the hobby, a digital vault of classic books and magazines, premium app access, and more, across a range of platforms – including apps, websites, and even in person. As if all that wasn't enough, you even get an exclusive free miniature if you remain subscribed for 12 consecutive months
That’s so much good stuff in one service. Let’s take a look at how to access all of those subscriber benefits, starting with the home of the fantastic new shows launching on Warhammer+.
Warhammer TV: The App
Much of the new content will be available through the new Warhammer TV app. This is your hub for all of the new painting, lore, and gaming shows, as well as Warhammer animations. It will be available at launch on iOS and Android, as well as the Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku services, so you can watch the latest episodes of Loremasters, Citadel Colour Masterclass, and more from the comfort of your sofa.
We’re aiming to cover even more platforms post-launch, but in the meantime, Warhammer TV will also have a dedicated website that you can access from your desktop, mobile, and tablet as needed.
When Warhammer TV goes live on the 25th of August, you can access it in the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and Italy. Don’t worry if your region isn’t on the list – we’ll be rolling it out to more territories soon.
Warhammer 40,000: The App
If you’re already using Warhammer 40,000: The App’s premium features to build your army lists and reference rules during your games, you’re in for a treat. All of the app’s nifty tools are included in your Warhammer+ subscription too.
As a special thank you to existing subscribers, if you convert your Warhammer 40,000: The App subscription to Warhammer+ within the first month, you’ll get your hands on your chosen free miniature* three months earlier than anyone else.
The bonus applies to annual subscribers to Warhammer+, and monthly Warhammer+ subscribers who sub for 9 months continuously. Annual subscribers will get an extra gift too, in the form of a special Warhammer+ pin badge that will arrive alongside the free miniature. You can download the app right now from here.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: The App
Warhammer Age of Sigmar’s upcoming app is also included in the Warhammer+ package, and will come complete with its own army builder ready for the new edition and much more.
Keep an eye on Warhammer Community for more information as we get closer to release, and look out for a free beta period coming soon.
Warhammer Vault
One of the most exciting features of the Warhammer+ experience is the Warhammer Vault, a vast, online repository of knowledge from the near and distant past of Games Workshop. Magazine issues, lore sections from classic codexes, and more will grace the vault when Warhammer+ launches, beginning with last year’s entire catalogue of White Dwarf magazines.
As it’s a website, you’ll be able to access the Vault from your desktop, laptop, or smartphone – provided you have a subscription to Warhammer+. As with the exclusive animations, updates will be added most Wednesdays.
That’s not all you get with your Warhammer+ subscription – exclusive offers, event access, and more are all part of the package. Set a reminder for the 25th of August, and sign up for the Warhammer+ newsletter to get all of the latest information delivered straight to your inbox.
Then there are two exclusive miniatures available, a Vindicare Assassin and an Orruk Megaboss. These cracking sculpts are only available to subscribers, who will be able to choose one for free and get the option to buy the other one later. Warhammer+ will release a new pair of miniatures every year.
We’ll have more information on the events side of things in due course, once our full programme gets back up and running – but there are exciting things in the pipeline.
* If you choose to buy the other Warhammer+ exclusive miniature, you’ll get that three months early too. For more information on the two miniatures, check out the Warhammer+ Preview Online.
