Do you like video games set in grim futures, fantastical realms, old worlds, and deadly sporting arenas? Good news! The Warhammer Skulls festival is back.

This year’s live show packed tons of trailers and three new game reveals into one epic digital extravaganza – and if you missed it the first time around, you can catch up on everything below. We even had an appearance from Space Marine 2’s Titus – known around these parts as Clive Standen.

With so much to show off, where could we possibly begin? How about a trip to the embattled hive city of Tertium, for an appointment with some unsavoury characters…

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

The latest cinematic trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide takes us back to Atoma Prime and the depths of the hive city Tertium, where an attack from the forces of Nurgle has spread a vicious contagion through the city. As defence forces fall to corruption and civilians transform into flesh-hungry monsters, the Imperium must turn to an unlikely band of criminals for salvation.

The trailer also features the haunting musical stylings of BAFTA award-winning composer Jesper Kyd, who returns from Warhammer: Vermintide and Vermintide 2. The soundtrack provides the perfect backdrop for a bit of dark and gloomy heretic-slaying, aided by the unnatural power of the newly revealed psyker character.

WHSkulls Jun01 Darktide4Take control of Tertium’s fate when Warhammer 40,000: Darktide launches on PC and Xbox this September 13th, with pre-orders for the Standard edition and deluxe Imperium edition open now.
