Le Voz de Horus podcast attracts the eye of Dark Gods with four magnificent Primarchs

While Knotley channeled the kaleidoscopic nature of Chaos for his dazzling array of paint schemes, four painters from the Le Voz de Horus podcast focused on the iconic hallmarks of each Daemon Primarch with a carefully curated choice of base to accentuate their murderous mien.

Alejandro Mancuso took on Fulgrim, while Belselch painted Angron, Misscontagion painted Mortarion, and Magnus is by Almu.*

On Mortarion, Misscontagion pairs a classically sombre selection of greens and browns with an uncommonly bright purple robe, to better highlight the immense detail around his head and torso.

Fulgrim, meanwhile, is as purple as the day is long. Alejandro’s dark blue tones and top-down lighting give the impression of the Phoenecian being revealed by moonlight – a terrifying proposition for anyone who thought they were alone in the dark.

Almu’s Magnus the Red opts for a bright silver and white portfolio that make him look stunningly regal compared to his nastier brothers. Combined with the snow adorning his base, this places him firmly on the peaks of Fenris during his invasion of the Space Wolves’ world.

Finally, Belselch’s Angron continues to do Angron things, with his boiling red hide and burning anger perhaps even more scorching than the lava beneath his feet. The verdigris on his armour makes it clear that this is a guy who doesn’t care about cleanliness – only that he has more flesh to grind.

Thanks to all these members of the Spanish-language La Voz de Horus podcast – wonderful work.

*The Warp whispered a little too loudly into our editor’s ear before the weekend, and we mistakenly credited all four Primarchs to one painter. We apologise for the errors, and will report to the Arco-Flagellant manufactory as soon as this correction goes live.
