Warhammer Day is our annual celebration of the entire Warhammer hobby, and it’s an excellent time to show off some awesome reveals. We’ve got Warhammer Underworlds, Kill Team, and plenty more to see from your favourite game systems, so grab yourself some tea and a biscuit – the show is about to begin.
With that all done and wrapped up, we can dig into today’s reveals in even more detail.
Warhammer Underworlds has been engaging gamers in its quick-fire deck-building action for seven years now, and it’s finally time for an evolution. The game gets its first major rules shake-up in Warhammer Underworlds: Embergard, with two new warbands and a host of changes set to tantalise your strategic minds.
The Skaven might be carrying the torch with their latest invasion of the Mortal Realms, but the myriad marauders of Chaos aren’t far behind. The Everchosen and his legions burst from the Eightpoints in Battletome: Slaves to Darkness, led by a master of the sorcerous arts…
Death fills the air in Brutal and Cunning, the first major expansion for the new edition of Kill Team. Hulking Ork demolitionists are making their way to the Great Gun while the Imperium’s finest are distracted, with only their most diminutive sharpshooters left to stem the green tide.
The Dark Mechanicum splintered from their Loyalist brethren shortly after Horus launched his rebellion, igniting a deadly schism that shook Mars to its core. These mechanical maestros are coming to the battlefields of Legions Imperialis – and now’s your chance to see one of their profane automata in plastic for the first time.
Meanwhile, back in the 41st Millennium, two warriors sit down for a repast in the latest Commemorative Series miniature.
There’s only two months (and a bit) until Christmas, so you know what that means: Battleforces. Five of them are on the horizon for Warhammer 40,000, with some monstrously powerful models and even a Primarch ready to deploy.
The Mortal Realms aren’t to be left out, with four battleforces. One representative from each of the four Grand Alliances is making an appearance, from the deluded champions of the Flesh-eater Courts to the pox-ridden Maggotkin of Nurgle.
That’s plenty to be chewing through, so take a look at everything revealed today and let us kn– hold on, there’s something else in here. Quick, Warhammer Community interns – zoom and enhance!
Something to do with 2025? Sounds strange. Probably nothing to worry about.
