A massive event like the World Championships deserves an equally important Preview Show, and today’s special presentation will not disappoint. There’s loads to see from your favourite Warhammer games – with some reveals you may not have expected at all – so settle in and enjoy the show.
Well that was a real banger of a Preview, wasn’t it? We know you’re itching to find out more about today’s reveals, so take a look below.
Warhammer: The Old World wouldn’t be complete without the might of the Empire of Man, but this isn’t the united front you may recall – in this era, the realms of man are fractured and infighting is rife. Ordered regiments of State Troops and fanatical Flagellants sweep in alongside deadly war machines and thundering heavy cavalry with new rules and loads of returning kits.
The Death Korps of Krieg are one of the premier Astra Militarum regiments when it comes to gruelling sieges and thankless frontal assaults, and they’re joining the battlefields of Warhammer 40,000 with a wave of plastic kits. See their new infantry, cavalry, and artillery – including an incredible new named character – right here.
The Ironjawz are the brutal foil to the Kruleboyz’ cunning, clad in thick armour and wading into the melee with choppas swinging. They are the classic mean and green ideal of an orruk turned up to 10, and their new Spearhead is something to behold.
They’re not the only greenskins running wild through the Mortal Realms: the Gloomspite Gitz surge from their caves with new wolf-mounted allies. There’s a new battletome and an army box filled with glorious new miniatures to look forward to – wouldn’t you like to see what’s inside?
The Arvus Lighter is coming to plastic, full-size and ready to lift. More plastic vehicles rumble in its wake ready to eradicate tanks and infantry in great swathes, changing the face of the Age of Darkness forevermore.
Another Black Library Celebration is on the way, honouring the best and brightest of our favourite books and authors, and there are some dynamite reveals.
But wait, that’s not all from the 41st Millennium! The skeins of fate have twisted once again, and wherever mysterious deeds are afoot, the Aeldari aren’t far behind. With the galaxy falling further into turmoil and Chaos on the ascendent, a mighty host of elite warriors and their legendary leaders have risen up to defend their Craftworlds.
And finally, there will be a Grotmas Calendar running throughout December this year, providing a new Detachment for every faction in Warhammer 40,000! Read all about it here.
