Both halves of the fractured Mechanicum in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Legions Imperialis have a powerful standing army in the form of cyborgs, automata, tanks and more, all equipped with strange weapons of ancient destruction. They are about to get even more deadly with the arrival of a plastic kit that builds four Knights Magaera or Knights Styrix, war machines rarely seen outside of Households who have pledged their troth unto the Mechanicum.
Rare among the cohort of Questoris variants, the Magaera and Styrix are enhanced with a number of sophisticated upgrades which make them mechanical marvels compared to their peers.

Each is equipped with the grasping and rending Hekaton siege claw, while the Magaera wields a lightning cannon – one of the Mechanicum’s favoured weapons – and the Styrix is armed with a volkite chieorovile designed to deflagrate flesh and strip shields.

These specialised Knights also sport improved defensive equipment with an Ionic Flare Shield and Blessed Auto-simulacra – the collective name for a number of enhancements which work together to slowly repair damage.
This upcoming kit allows you to build four of either the Questoris Knight Magaera or Styrix, with a choice of Mechanium or Questoris Household banners. The box also contains two command terminals for use in games of Adeptus Titanicus. Rules for these miniatures are found in the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Legions Imperialis Rulebook, while further options for Mechanicum, Dark Mechanicum and Questoris Familia are found in The Rise of the Dark Mechanicum.
