What happens when the unstoppable momentum of an Ork Waaagh! led by the infamous Ghazghkull Thraka crashes headlong into a shield host of Adeptus Custodes led by the indomitable Captain-General Trajan Valoris? You get one absolutely incredible episode of Battle Report!
This week, Nick and Simon are pitting the new Codex: Orks and the new Codex: Adeptus Custodes against each other in a 2,000-point Chapter Approved game, using Tactical Mission decks and the new Big Mek and Shield-Captain miniatures.
All bets are off as to what will happen when these forces meet, as Ghazghkull Thraka’s Beast Snagga horde takes on a shield host led by one of the most storied commanders in the Imperium’s long and bloody history.
We’re particular fans of the Adeptus Custodes in this episode, as they were painted by our own Warhammer Community designer Steve (stay tuned for a closer look at this army later this week), but the Orks are certainly set to put up a fight…
Things remain madcap and Orky elsewhere on Warhammer+ this week with an episode of Loremasters dedicated to some of the oddest ladz who crop up in the Ork clans – the Mekboyz. You can find out where their twisted engineering knowledge comes from, as well as what kind of crazy contraptions they make.,
Citadel Colour Masterclass is proving just as boisterous and belligerent as our favourite green-skinned hooligans, as our host tackles how to paint the weathered skin of Mega-Gargants. There are also explanations on how to paint all the lovely stomach-churning details that bring these gnarly miniatures to life, such as toenails, veins, and blistering skin.
You’ve still got until the 30th of April to win a limited edition set of the Enemy Within campaign books for the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay series, printed by Cubicle 7. All you need to do to enter is subscribe to Warhammer+ – already a subscriber? You’re already entered.*
