The heavy end of the Hammer of the Emperor is poised to fall on the enemies of the Imperium this week as the Astra Militarum mobilises its first wave of new releases.
Codex: Astra Militarum
The Astra Militarum is among the mightiest fighting forces of the 41st Millennium. These brave men and women battle horrors from the stars and beyond with grit, determination, and overwhelming firepower. Codex: Astra Militarum is your essential guide to this faction, containing fresh lore, as well as 51 datasheets, 31 stratagems, Relics, Regimental Doctrines, and plenty more besides.
Codex: Astra Militarum (Collectors' Edition)
Prove that your loyalty to the Emperor knows no bounds and become the envy of your platoon by requisitioning the collector’s edition of Codex: Astra Militarum. It’s the same 152 pages of the standard codex, but with a soft-touch, full-art cover with silver foil details, printed page edges, and a black ribbon page marker.
Lord Solar Leontus
The vastness of the Astra Militarum can only operate thanks to the dizzying hierarchy of command that governs it. Lord Solar Leontus sits near the top of this pile, commanding the entire martial might of Segmentum Solar, gracing battlefields with his tactical prowess from the back of his trusty robo-steed, Konstantin.
Lord Castellan Ursula Creed
Cadia may have broken but its legacy lives on, and the indomitable will of its soldiers is held together by the inspiring presence of one Ursula J Creed. Despite her heritage, she earned her position through long years of graft, and now confers her experience to those she commands.
The colours of Cadia don’t run, so to help paint your own Urusla J Creed (and her loyal troopers) the Warhammer Painting Team have come up with their top 10 picks. Kislev Flesh, Vulkan Green, Mournfang Brown, Zandri Dust, Corax White, Nuln Oil, Retributor Armour, Apothecary White, Abaddon Black, and Mephiston Red will quickly get your soldiers Battle Ready.
Cadian Shock Troops
Said to be born with lasguns in their hands, Cadian Shock Troops undergo a harsh training regimen to make them the ideal soldier, a template that other regiments strive to replicate. Well-versed in offence and defence, these squads of 10 troopers can arm themselves with a variety of special weapons.
Cadian Command Squad
The Cadian Command Squad deliver their orders via stern shouting and enthusiastic flag waving, inspiring their fellow soldiers to feats of bravery. They come with a variety of useful specialists, including more special weapons and a medic.
Heavy Weapons Squad
The only thing better than a Cadian trooper with a gun is two Cadian troopers with a bigger gun. Multiply that by three, and you’ve got a Heavy Weapons Squad to lay down a formidable fusillade of furious firepower from a choice of mortars, missile launchers, heavy bolters, autocannons, or lascannons.
Rogal Dorn Battle Tank
Provide an armoured anchor for your troops with the almighty Rogal Dorn Battle Tank. This treaded behemoth is a redoubtable bulwark against incoming fire, and it’s bristling with a range of powerful guns designed to perforate heavy armour, mow down scores of infantry, and generally just blow stuff up.
Field Ordnance Battery
The Astra Militarum’s military doctrine states that big problems can easily be solved by bigger guns – like those used by Field Ordnance Batteries. These mobile support batteries come in pairs and can be fitted with a malleus rocket launcher, a heavy lascannon, or a bombast field gun.
Sentinel
Sentinels stalk the battlefields of the 41st Millenium on powerful mechanical legs. They come in two variants – Scout Sentinels, which perform high-speed recces – and Armoured Sentinels, which undertake flank-busting assaults.
Baneblade
Add a super-heavy tank to your army with the almighty Baneblade. This new package combines the original chassis with the full range of sponsons and accessories so you can create any of the seven other variants of this titanic tank. Banesword, Shadowsword, Doomhammer, Stormsword, Banehammer, Stormlord, or Hellhammer – the choice is yours.
Leman Russ Battle Tank
Deadly and always reliable, the Leman Russ Battle Tank has been a mainstay of the Astra Militarum for years, and that’s not changing any time soon. This new box collates all three Leman Russ frames in one place, letting you make a regular Leman Russ Battle Tank, any of its six specialised variants, or a Tank Commander. What’s more, now they can be taken in squadrons!
Primaris Psyker
The witch must be regarded with utmost suspicion, even if that witch is a Primaris Psyker, sanctioned by Imperial forces for combat use. These empirically attuned warriors protect guardsmen against enemy powers and counter-attack with their own warp-charged assault.
Datacards: Astra Militarum
Conducting the Imperial war machine is a herculean task – lighten the load with Datacards: Astra Militarum, a pack of 63 reference cards which cover Stratagems, Psychic Powers, and Regimental Orders.
Astra Militarum Dice Set
Ensure you represent the Emperor’s might to its fullest extent with the Astra Militarum Dice Set. This pack of 15 themed dice is cast in metallic green plastic with gold pips, and the Astra Militarum logo on the six face.
Astra Militarum Art Print Bundle
If you grab everything listed above in one go, you’ll score a free print of the glorious Codex cover artwork signed by the artist Lewis Jones – while stocks last. Never fear if you bought the Cadia Stands Army Set last year, there’s a special bundle of just the new stuff.
