There is a veritable throng of heavily armed hooligans on pre-order this week, ready to take the Mortal Realms and the World of Legend by storm.
Darkoath Army Set
The Darkoath tribes are the mortal descendants of those whom Sigmar left behind. Forced to survive under the yoke of Chaos for untold centuries, the Darkoath are a proud martial culture whose word is their bond. In short, they’d be real stand-up guys if they weren’t devotees of the Ruinous Powers…
This army set contains 27 all-new Darkoath, including 20 Marauders, five Fellriders, one Wilderfiend, and one Chieftain on Warsteed. Each unit comes with a wide range of heads, weapons, and other options, and they may all be used as the basis for or reinforcements to a wider Slaves to Darkness army. You also get a full set of warscroll cards and tokens, and a physical copy of Battletome Supplement: Darkoath (which will also be available as a free PDF download) to serenade the last few months of the current edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar.*
Kingdom of Bretonnia – Lady Élisse Duchaard
The Prophetess of the Lady joins the armies of Bretonnia in the Old World this week, sat astride her unicorn mount Ariandir and brandishing a very fancy grail. She’s a powerful new spellcaster found in the pages of Arcane Journal: Kingdom of Bretonnia, and she is made of Forge World resin.
Kingdom of Bretonnia – Lord on Royal Pegasus
Bring equine death from above in the name of the king with the Bretonnian Lord on Royal Pegasus, who is available separately for the first time after his debut in the launch set. He can be built either as a Duke or a Baron, and comes with all the requisite head, body, and weapon options.
Kingdom of Bretonnia – Men-at-Arms
Even the most elite cavalry in the Old World need an anvil – so the knights of fair Bretonnia dredge up a load of peasants, hand them some spears and shields, and use them as a sweaty roadblock to facilitate glorious flank charges. This set builds 36 Men-at-Arms, including two command squads – champions, musicians, standard bearers, and Grail Monks.**
Kingdom of Bretonnia – Peasant Bowmen
With Men-at-Arms holding enemies in place and cavalry thundering into exposed flanks, Peasant Bowmen complete the Kingdom of Bretonnia’s triple threat by peppering their enemies with volleys of arrows. This set builds 36 Peasant Bowmen, with enough options to build command squads for two separate units, as well as a set of stakes and burning braziers.**
Kingdom of Bretonnia Transfer Sheet
This new Kingdom of Bretonnia Transfer sheet will offload all the fiddly freehand involved in adding livery to your shields and barding. It contains 861 transfer sheets from a range of Bretonnian dukedoms, honour markings, crests for your Lords and Grail Knights, and a variety of fleur-de-lys.
Tomb Kings of Khemri – Casket of Souls
Within the heart of every Nehekharan king’s tomb lies a sarcophagus filled with the tormented souls of those who have incited a Tomb King’s wrath. These Caskets of Souls are carted into battle, whereupon Liche Priests lift the lid and unleash them to scour their enemies. This remastered Forge World resin kit has been upgraded with new details inside the casket, so you can leave it unglued and open… if you dare.
Tomb Kings of Khemri – Necrolith Colossus
The Tomb Kings of Khemri get themselves a brand new bony bruiser, as the classic Necrolith Colossus gets a new resin remaster. This update improves the posing options and throws in a third, previously unreleased, head with a crested helmet.
Orc & Goblin Tribes – Orc Shamans
Shamans are living conduits to the brutal and cunning Gork and the cunning but brutal Mork, and channel great magical power with wild gesticulation and gibbering chants. This two-pack contains two metal Orc Shamans, one on foot and one riding a boar – we’ll leave you to decide which of the pair is favoured by which god.
Orc & Goblin Tribes – Orc Boyz & Orc Arrer Boyz Mobs
Hollering throngs of Orc Boyz are the mainstay of any Waaagh!, ready to run roughshod over anything smaller than them and gleefully duff up anything bigger. This multipart plastic kit contains 38 Orcs that you can split into two complete units of 19 – one with paired hand weapons and the other with warbows, each with a full command, plus a new Orc transfer sheet with 75 transfers.**
Orc & Goblin Tribes – Black Orc Mobs
Black Orcs are the biggest, meanest, and most belligerent Orcs going, their bulk emphasised by crude metal armour. These vile brutes amuse themselves by bullying lesser Orcs, and hacking away at their foes with oversized choppas. This kit contains a unit of 20 Black Orcs, with a full command and a selection of paired hand weapons, great weapons, and hand weapons with shields.*
Orc & Goblin Tribes – Orc Boar Boyz Mob
Orcs and war boars share the same ill-tempered attitude, and both are as unpredictable as each other. A mob of Orc Boar Boyz is a porcine wrecking ball on the battlefield, and once they’ve built up their deadly momentum, very little can stop them. This box contains enough bitz to build 10 Orc Boar Boyz with choppas or spears, as well as shields, or two squads of five, each with full command, alongside a new Orc transfer sheet with 75 transfers.**
Orc & Goblin Tribes – Orc Boar Chariots
Orcs with a bit of know-how throw together ramshackle chariots, which they leash to war boars and ride into battle at break-neck speeds. These thunderous contraptions are envied by Orcs forced to schlep into combat under their own steam, and this box gets a pair which features a handful of options including a bosspole.**
Orc & Goblin Tribes – Goblin Shaman
This Goblin Shaman is the first of a selection of miniatures that puts the “Goblin” into Orc & Goblin Tribes. While their larger cousins chant and dance around as they cast their incantations, Goblin Shamans skulk behind their allies, safely cooking up a magical maelstrom. This is a plastic miniature which includes optional basing elements.***
Orc & Goblin Tribes – Goblin Mob
Alone, Goblins are cowardly creatures, but when they gather in a seething mob, they become emboldened by the idea that harm is more likely to befall the git next to them and become a force that overwhelms opponents through sheer numbers. This box contains enough Goblins to build one unit of 40, or two of 20, with enough spears, shields, shortbows, and command options for both units, as well as a new Goblin Transfer sheet containing 84 transfers.***
Orc & Goblin Tribes – Night Goblin Mob
Even pointier and thus more fearsome than their kin, Night Goblins Mobs live in the dank, dark, caverns beneath the World’s Edge Mountains. This box contains 40 Night Goblins, which can be built wielding either short bows or spears and shields, enough command options for two units of 20, and a Goblin transfer sheet.***
Orc & Goblin Tribes – Goblin Wolf Riders Mob
Many Goblin tribes are nomadic, and they traverse the Badlands in rambling groups, breeding giant wolves to help with hunting and skirmishing on these vast open plains. This kit contains 15 Goblin Wolf Riders who you can arm with shortbows, or spears and shields, along with the requisite command squad. You also get one of the new Goblin transfer sheets.**
