We’re well and truly into October now, which means spooky season is on the horizon, everyone is going nuts for pumpkin-spiced everything, and a new issue of White Dwarf is imminent. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights from this bumper instalment.
The Bunker, White Dwarf’s own global gaming club, rolls into its fourth month with a new Warhammer Age of Sigmar narrative campaign and a supernatural painting challenge.
The Blood Angels battle the Death Guard in the inaugural epic-scale Battle Report for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Legions Imperialis. This is a huge deal – you’ll get to see exactly how the new game plays, using two large and varied studio armies of Space Marines.
Speaking of painting, the White Dwarf team shows off their Combat Patrols as well as some fantastically painted wizards from across the community. Plus, there’s a showcase of stunning green Tyranids. Yes, you read that right!
For fans of Warhammer 40,000 there are new Crusade rules for White Dwarf’s own Space Marines Chapter, the venerable Tome Keepers, as well as a focus on jump packs and the warriors who utilise them.
Meanwhile, over in the Mortal Realms, there’s a new Callis and Toll short story, an Idoneth Deepkin painting showcase and new Warcry quests for the Vulkyn Flameseekers and Kruleboyz Monsta-Killaz.
