The World Championships of Warhammer and the Grand Narrative have been and gone, and we’ve got our sights firmly set on 2025 – and all the events that are coming to Warhammer World in March.
The new edition of the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game is available to pre-order on Saturday, which gives you around three months to prepare for the first Middle-earth Grand Tournament to use the updated ruleset. You’ll need to bring two forces, Good and Evil worth 700 points each, and fight six games over two days in this thrilling tournament. As always, you’ll be able to take part in the Green Dragon Inn pub quiz on Saturday night, and compete for awards for painting, sportsmanship, and overall performance.
This event takes place on the weekend of the 15th and 16th of March.
Prepare for cutthroat and claustrophobic combat with Into the Breach, a one-day event in which you’ll play three 500-point Boarding Actions games. You’ll battle over symmetrical missions for a chance to take home awards, but be sure to lavish attention on one of your characters for the painting competition.
This event takes place on Thursday the 20th of March.
Prove yourself as the greatest general in all the Mortal Realms at the Warhammer Age of Sigmar Grand Tournament. You’ll need a 2,000-point army, the General’s Handbook, and finely honed strategic wits to compete in five games over two days. You’ll be playing for awards including best general, favourite army, best painted, and favourite opponent, as well as the prestigious top placings.
This event takes place on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of March.
Rank up your 1,250-point army and charge them right into your opponents’ flanks in a three-game event that captures all the thrills and spills of a full Old World tournament, condensed into a single day. As well as earning awards for your game performance, you’ll get to compete for sportsmanship and painting awards.
This event takes place on Wednesday the 26th of March.
Spearhead is the small-format version of Warhammer Age of Sigmar where pre-selected forces battle it out on compact battlefields. You’ll play four fast and ferocious games with the Spearhead of your choice, competing for awards which include accolades for painting and sportsmanship.
This event takes place on Saturday the 29th of March.
The Gnarlwood is as insatiable as ever, but there is glory and riches to be found within for brave warriors. Muster your warband and head into this deadly environment for a thrilling day of matched play Warcry. You’ll compete for awards over four games, and can even pick up placings for painting and sportsmanship.
This event takes place on Sunday the 30th of March.
