The arrival of Grand Cathay into the Old World is just the beginning. There are yet more great new models to come, and plenty more Arcane Journals on the way over the next few months, starting with the Tomb Kings of Khemri.
Royal Heralds
As is only fitting for their duty at the vanguard of Settra’s war hosts, the first new models are Royal Heralds for the Tomb Kings of Khemri. These gorgeous new plastic miniatures act as Battle Standard Bearers and Tomb Princes, on foot or mounted upon a barded skeletal steed.

With three right and three left arm options interchangeable across either model, you’re free to build these however suits you best. Perhaps you want a hard-hitting prince on skeletal steed, backed up by a Herald with Battle Standard on foot, or maybe you want your Battle Standard to be a bit more mobile.
Liche Priests

These stunning new Liche Priests also come in a pair, one on a barded skeletal steed and the other on foot. Liche Priests are integral to every Tomb Kings army, as it's their magic that holds the whole force together. This plastic kit comes with four heads to choose from, as well as numerous other options.
Arcane Journal: War of Settra’s Fury
Arriving with the new plastic kits is a new Arcane Journal describing Settra’s full-scale invasion into the Border Princes and the Vaults (the mountain range to the south of Bretonnia), and the efforts of some unlikely allies in resisting it.

This 48-page supplement is packed with the lore behind the bloody Tomb Kings offensive and loads of content for your games. You’ll find rules for mounts for Khemrian characters, the incantations of the Mortuary Cult, and various Armies of Infamy, including Dwarfen Slayers and the Border Princes, alongside rules for smaller bouts of Warhammer: the Old World.
Arcane Journal: Dawn of the Storm Dragon
Our next reveal tells a very different tale. In the spring of 2277, as the Chaos Champion Frydaal the Chainmaker ransacks the northern reaches of the Empire, a fleet led by Miao Ying sets out from Grand Cathay, intent on beating back the scions of the Dark Gods, and diplomacy with the Empire of Man.

This Arcane Journal details this turbulent history, as well as the warriors and heroes involved in them. You’ll find terrain generation tables, guidelines for multiplayer games, linked battles, and a new Army of Infamy, The Jade Fleet – an alliance between Grand Cathay and the people of Westerland.
That’s it for the Old World, but there’s more to come from the Big Summer Preview. Click the button below to see what else we’re revealing.
