European Language 2025 Promotion: Terms & Conditions

European Language Social Media Launch Promotion Terms:

1. The Promoter

1.1 The Promoter is Games Workshop Limited of Willow Road, Lenton, Nottingham, NG7 2WS, UK, +44 (0)115 914 0000 (“GW”).
1.2 Games Workshop Limited Australian Business Number: 27 207 794 257.
2. Eligibility
2.1 You must be 18 years of age or older to enter the competition.
2.2 The competition is open to residents worldwide, excluding Italy, Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Taiwan, Serbia and China. This competition is void where prohibited by law.
2.3 Entries from trade accounts or employees of any of the Games Workshop group of companies, their families, agents or any other person connected with the administration of the competition will not be considered.
3. The Competition
3.1 NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS PROMOTION.
3.2 Entry is free and open to all those who meet GW’s eligibility requirements and who satisfy the requirements detailed below.
3.3 There will be two (2) winners. Each winner will receive one (1) Warhammer Age of Sigmar Spearhead OR one (1) Warhammer 40,000 Combat Patrol box set of their choice.
3.4 For the purposes of these terms and conditions, any reference to “Social Media Channels” will mean Facebook or Instagram.
3.5 One (1) winner will be drawn from the followers of the Warhammer French Social Media Channels and one (1) winner will be drawn from the followers of the Spanish Social Media Channels.
4. How to Enter
4.1 There are two (2) routes of entry into the prize draw. You may only enter once via each entry route. Each route has the same chance of winning. All entrants will be entered into one of two (2) prize draws, depending on which language Social Media Channels they follow.
Entry Route 1:
4.1.1 Be following any of the French Warhammer Social Media Channels on Facebook or Instagram by 7 April 2025
Entry Route 2:
4.1.2 Be following any of the Spanish Warhammer Social Media Channels on Facebook or Instagram by 7 April 2025
4.2 One entry only per person per entry route. An entrant may only enter through the entry routes above. Entrants identified as having submitted multiple entries into any one entry route in contravention of these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified.
4.3 GW is not responsible for any technical difficulties rendering a person unable to enter the competition.
4.4 If a name is drawn which belongs to a resident of Canada or Belgium, they must correctly answer a skill-testing question in order to win a prize, in accordance with Canadian and Belgian laws.
5. The Prize Draw
5.1 All entrants will be entered into one of two prize draws, depending on the entry route used. These prize draws will be categorised as “France” and “Spain”.
5.2 The prize draws will all take place at Games Workshop, Willow Road, Nottingham NG7 2WS at 10 a.m. (UK Time) on 8 April 2025. The draw will be made by computerised random selection. The chance of winning depends upon the number of entrants per entry route.
6. Prize Details
6.1 There will be one (1) winner from the France prize draw, each winner will receive one (1) prize, consisting of one (1) Warhammer Age of Sigmar Spearhead or Warhammer 40,000 Combat Patrol box set. The approximate retail value of the prize pool is £100/$168 USD/$280 AUS/€130. This value excludes delivery and sales tax, where applicable.
6.2 There will be one (1) winner from the Spain prize draw, each winner will receive one (1) prize, consisting of one (1) Warhammer Age of Sigmar Spearhead or Warhammer 40,000 Combat Patrol box set. The approximate retail value of the prize pool is £100/$168 USD/$280 AUS/€130. This value excludes delivery and sales tax, where applicable.
6.3 Prizes are not transferable or negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered. Prizes cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
6.4 Entrants are responsible for any applicable taxes and compliance with tax laws in the area of receipt the prize.
7. Notification
7.1 The winners will be contacted within three (3) UK working days of their name being drawn.
7.2 Winners will be contacted by direct message on one of the platforms on which they are following the Warhammer Social Media Channels.
7.3 Winners must claim their prize by responding to GW’s message and must provide their delivery address. If any prize has not been claimed by the end of 23:59 (UK Time) 7 May 2025, then a redraw will be held for the remaining prize(s).
7.4 Winners who do not respond to GW’s messages relating to claiming, delivery or other administration of the prize, within one (1) month of GW’s message, will forfeit the prize and a redraw will be held to select a new winner.
8. Redraw Process
8.1 A redraw, if applicable, will take place at Games Workshop, Willow Road, Nottingham NG7 2WS at 10 a.m. (UK Time) on 14 May 2025. The redraw will be made by computerised random selection.
8.2 The winner(s) of the redraw will be notified as stipulated under clauses 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3. The winner(s) of the redraw must claim their prize before 23:59 (UK Time) 16 June 2025. If any remaining prizes have not been claimed by this date, then the opportunity to win these prizes will be lost and the prize draw will be finished.
8.3 Winners who do not respond to GW’s messages relating to claiming, delivery or other administration of the prize, within one (1) month of GW’s message, will forfeit the prize and any opportunity to win these prizes will be lost and the prize draw will be finished.
9. Publication
9.1 Entrants agree that GW can use their name and place of residence (in the format of initial-surname-state/region-country, e.g. J Bloggs from Nottingham, England) for advertising and promotional purposes and for the purposes of fulfilling legal obligations. If you do not wish your name and/or place of residence to be published or made available, or you wish to reduce the amount of information published or made available, please inform GW at the time you submit your entry.
9.2 Entrants from Australia will be displayed as last name, first initial and postcode (e.g. J Bloggs from NG7 2WS) in accordance with Australian law.
9.3 Clause 9.1 will not apply to entrants from Germany. Specific consent will be sought from entrants from Germany to display this information, and the information will only be displayed publicly where the express consent has been provided by the Entrant. When you submit your entry, you can choose to provide your express consent for GW to publish your information in line with clause 9.1.
9.4 Details of the winners will be published on https://www.warhammer-community.com once identified.
9.5 Details of the winners of any redraw under clause 8, if applicable, will be published on https://www.warhammer-community.com once identified.
10. General
10.1 GW reserves the right to vary any of these Terms and Conditions without notice, to the extent permissible by applicable laws. In such event GW will make reasonable efforts to communicate any change with entrants.
10.2 These rules are governed by the laws of England and any dispute relating to the promotion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Entry indicates acceptance of the rules as final and legally binding.
10.3 This promotion is subject to applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
10.4 If any provision or part-provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of this agreement.
10.5 Where the Promotion involves a third party website, please check that website’s own terms and conditions and privacy notice. Promotions on social media are subject to the social media site’s rules. If an entrant breaks any applicable rules set by social media sites then that entrant’s entry into the Promotion will be void.
11. Meta
11.1 In accordance with requirements of third party social media platforms, the entrants agree to fully release and hold harmless from liability the third party social media platform operators (including but not limited to META (Facebook), and Instagram) in relation to this GW promotion.
11.2 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta.
12. Data Protection
12.1 Any personal data provided to us in connection with this competition will be held and processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice. We may also use that data for administration of, and communication in connection with, this competition. By submitting your personal information in connection with this competition you acknowledge the processing of your personal data as set out above and you confirm that the information is accurate and complete.
13. Customer Disclosure - US
13.1 No Purchase of any kind is necessary to enter or win this promotion. You have not yet won. Purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Grand Prize: One (1) Warhammer Age of Sigmar Spearhead or one (1) Warhammer 40,000 Combat Patrol box set. There are two (2) prizes available in the promotion. (ARV)$ 504 USD. Comment participer
4.1 Il existe deux (2) modes de participation au tirage au sort. Vous ne pouvez participer qu’une seule fois par mode de participation. Chaque mode a les mêmes chances de gagner. Tous les participants sont inscrits à l’un des deux (2) tirages au sort, en fonction des Réseaux de médias sociaux linguistiques qu’ils suivent.

1^er mode de participation :

4.1.1 suivre l’un des Réseaux de médias sociaux français de Warhammer sur Facebook ou Instagram au plus tard le 7 avril 2025.

2^ème mode de participation :

4.1.2 suivre l’un des Réseaux de médias sociaux espagnols de Warhammer sur Facebook ou Instagram au plus tard le 7 avril 2025

4.2 Une seule participation par personne et par mode de participation. Un participant ne peut s’inscrire que via les modes de participation susmentionnés. Les participants identifiés comme ayant soumis plusieurs participations à un même mode de participation en violation de ces Conditions générales sont disqualifiés.

4.3 GW n’engage aucune responsabilité en cas de difficultés techniques empêchant une personne de participer au concours.

4.4 Si le nom d’un résident du Canada ou de la Belgique est tiré au sort, il doit répondre correctement à une question de compétence pour pouvoir gagner un prix, conformément aux lois canadiennes et belges.

Le tirage au sort
5.1 Tous les participants sont inscrits à l’un des deux tirages au sort, en fonction du mode de participation utilisé. Ces tirages au sort sont classés dans les catégories « France » et « Espagne ».
5.2 Les tirages au sort ont tous lieu dans les locaux de Games Workshop, Willow Road, Nottingham NG7 2WS à 10h00 (heure britannique) le 8 avril 2025. Le tirage au sort est effectué par voie de sélection aléatoire informatisée. Les chances de gagner dépendent du nombre de participants par mode de participation.

6.1 Un (1) gagnant est désigné lors du tirage au sort pour la France, chaque gagnant reçoit un (1) prix, comprenant un (1) coffret Warhammer Age of Sigmar Spearhead ou Warhammer 40.000 Combat Patrol. La valeur approximative au détail du lot est de 100 £ ou 168 dollars américains (USD) ou 280 dollars australiens (AUS) ou 130 €. Cette valeur ne comprend pas les frais de livraison et toute taxe sur les ventes, le cas échéant.
6.2 Un (1) gagnant est désigné lors du tirage au sort pour l’Espagne, chaque gagnant reçoit un (1) prix, comprenant un (1) coffret Warhammer Age of Sigmar Spearhead ou Warhammer 40.000 Combat Patrol. Notification
7.1 Les gagnants sont contactés dans les trois (3) jours ouvrés britanniques suivant le tirage au sort de leur nom.
7.2 Les gagnants sont contactés par message privé sur l’une des plateformes sur lesquelles ils suivent les Réseaux de médias sociaux de Warhammer.
7.3 Les gagnants doivent réclamer leur prix en répondant au message de GW et doivent communiquer leur adresse de livraison. Si un prix n’a pas été réclamé au plus tard le 7 Mai 2025 à 23h59 (heure britannique), le ou les prix restants font l’objet d’un nouveau tirage au sort.
7.4 Les gagnants qui ne répondent pas aux messages de GW concernant la réclamation, la remise ou toute autre question d’administration du prix, dans un délai d’un (1) mois à compter du message de GW, perdent le prix et un nouveau tirage au sort est organisé pour sélectionner un nouveau gagnant.

Processus de nouveau tirage au sort
8.1 Un nouveau tirage au sort, le cas échéant, a lieu dans les locaux de Games Workshop, Willow Road, Nottingham NG7 2WS à 10h00 (heure britannique) le 14 mai 2025. Le nouveau tirage au sort est effectué par voie de sélection aléatoire informatisée.
8.2 Le ou les gagnants du tirage au sort sont notifiés conformément aux termes des clauses 7.1, 7.2 et 7.3. Le ou les gagnants du nouveau tirage au sort doivent réclamer leur prix avant 23h59 (heure britannique) le 16 juin 2025. Si les prix restants n’ont pas été réclamés à cette date, la possibilité de remporter ces prix est perdue et le tirage au sort est terminé.
8.3 Les gagnants qui ne répondent pas aux messages de GW concernant la réclamation, la remise ou toute autre question d’administration du prix, dans un délai d’un (1) mois à compter du message de GW, perdent le prix et toute possibilité de remporter ces prix est perdue et le tirage au sort du prix est terminé.

Publication
9.1 Les participants acceptent que GW utilise leur nom et lieu de résidence (sous cette forme : initiales-nom-État-région-pays, par ex. J Bloggs de Nottingham, Angleterre) à des fins publicitaires et promotionnelles et pour satisfaire aux obligations légales. Si vous ne souhaitez pas que votre nom et/ou lieu de résidence soient publiés ou mis à disposition, ou si vous souhaitez réduire la quantité d’informations publiées ou mises à disposition, veuillez en informer GW au moment où vous soumettez votre participation.
9.2 Les participants en Australie seront affichés sous cette forme : nom de famille, première initiale et code postal (par ex. J Bloggs de NG7 2WS), conformément au droit australien.
9.3 La clause 9.1 ne s’applique pas aux participants en Allemagne. Les participants en Allemagne sont invités à donner leur accord spécifique pour que ces informations soient affichées, et celles-ci ne sont affichées publiquement que si le Participant a donné son accord exprès. Lorsque vous soumettez votre participation, vous pouvez choisir de donner votre accord exprès pour que GW publie vos informations conformément à la clause 9.1.

Généralités

4.2 Solamente se admitirá una inscripción por cada vía de acceso. Los concursantes solo podrán participar a través de las vías de participación indicadas anteriormente. Se descalificará a los participantes que hayan enviado varias participaciones a una misma vía de acceso contraviniendo las presentes Condiciones.

4.3 GW no se hace responsable de las dificultades técnicas que impidan a una persona participar en el concurso.

4.4 Si se extrae un nombre que pertenece a un residente de Canadá o Bélgica, este deberá responder correctamente a una pregunta de prueba de habilidad para ganar un premio, de acuerdo con las leyes canadienses y belgas.

El sorteo
5.1 Todos los inscritos participarán en uno de los dos sorteos de premios, en función de la vía de acceso utilizada. Estos sorteos se clasificarán como «Francia» y «España».
5.2 Todos los sorteos tendrán lugar en Games Workshop, Willow Road, Nottingham NG7 2WS, a las 10.00 de la mañana (hora del Reino Unido) del día 8 de abril de 2025. El sorteo se realizará mediante selección aleatoria informatizada. Las posibilidades de ganar dependen del número de participantes por vía de acceso.

Notificación

7.3 Los ganadores deberán reclamar su premio respondiendo al mensaje de GW y deberán facilitar su dirección de envío. Si algún premio no ha sido reclamado antes de las 23:59 (hora del Reino Unido) del 7 de mayo de 2025, se celebrará un nuevo sorteo para el premio o premios restantes.
7.4 Los ganadores que no respondan a los mensajes de GW relativos a la reclamación, el envío u otro proceso de administración del premio, en el plazo de un (1) mes a partir del mensaje de GW, perderán el derecho al premio y se celebrará un nuevo sorteo para seleccionar un nuevo ganador.
