O’Shovah has perfected his superhero landing – the wielder of the Dawn Blade has crashed in from the stars to kick off the next Arks of Omen book.
Arks of Omen: Farsight
Way out in the Damocles Gulf, another Key fragment lies waiting to be found on the dead planet of Arthas Moloch. The Farsight Enclaves of the T’au are forced to retreat to this blighted planet by the Ork hordes, just as one of Vashtorr’s many Arks of Omen arrives to claim this mysterious artefact…
Arks of Omen: Farsight is the fourth book of the Warhammer 40,000 narrative series. It contains over 30 pages of lore and art recounting the carnage, a gallery of miniature photography, and Boarding Action rules for the T’au Empire, Asuryani and Ynnari, Drukhari, Harlequins, and Adeptus Sororitas. On top of all that, there are rules for games with 3-4 players, and a new Dark Depths game mode that mixes up terrain placement.
Arks of Omen: Farsight (Collector’s Edition)
If you stan a crimson king – not that one – then you’ll want to pick up the Collector’s Edition of Farsight. This luxury volume comes with a variant soft-touch cover featuring Farsight’s determined visage, with silver foil lettering and a black ribbon page marker. It’s available only while stocks last – so get yours before it’s gone.
Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire
Commander Farsight surges into the action at the head of his very own Boarding Patrol, bringing three XV8 Crisis Battlesuits, 10 Fire Warriors, with an accompaniment of eight Tactical Drones and a DS8 Tactical Support Turret. There are also three T’au Empire transfer sheets included, so you can pick the sept of your choice.*
The Warhammer Paint team are on hand to help you get Commander Farsight’s brand-new Supernova Battlesuit looking the best it can with just 10 pots of paint.
Use Mephiston Red Spray to prime Farsight, Mechanicus Standard Grey to prime the base, and then pick out the suit’s inner frame and details with Corvus Black. Paint the tree with Dryad Bark, the armour with Mephiston Red, and make certain panels stand out with Word Bearers Red. Skullcrusher Brass and Leadbelcher are your paints of choice for the metallic details, and Morghast Bone can be used for the honour ribbons. Grey Seer is for the helmet, shield details, blossoms on the base, and T’au markings on the armour. Berserker Bloodshade adds some definition to the panel lines of the armour, and Nuln Oil does the same for other darker areas and the stone base.
Arks of Omen: Farsight Enclaves Dice Set
As one of Puretide’s proteges, Farsight doesn’t leave much to chance in his tactical plans… but if he did, we reckon he’d probably quite approve of Farsight Enclaves themed dice. These red dice with black pips feature the Enclaves logo on the 6 face.
