Start the year with some brilliant new shows on Warhammer TV

After three epic years on your screen, Warhammer TV has relaunched with a massive slate of new shows in a new seasonal format. Available to anyone with a Warhammer+ subscription, these new shows will shine a light on every aspect of the Warhammer hobby.

Three shows drop today: Citadel Colour Masterclass gets tasty with an episode on how to paint victuals, while Arena of Death is presenting a no-holds-barred knockout between the Primarchs of the Horus Heresy. Finally, on Loremasters, we meet Skragrott the Loonking, self-styled overlord of the Gloomspite.

But that’s far from all that’s coming in January – here’s what else to expect this month.

For fans of brushwork, there’s the next episode of Painting Desk, in which our expert Ed talks to award-winning painter Natalie about her work, featuring excellent close-up photography of her favourite pieces. Citadel Colour Masterclass meanwhile has another video coming up, showcasing the regimented soldiery of an upcoming release.

For those who prefer building miniatures – which many would claim is for the truest Warhammer connoisseurs – episode two of Scrap Demon challenges its guests to take on the role of necromancers working in the medium of rigid grey polystyrene, and build an undead abomination from a graveyard of assorted sprues. Da Mekboy’z Workshop meanwhile investigates how the towering Hel’s Claw diorama at Warhammer World came to be.

Lore fans are in luck with three episodes of Loremasters covering the Gloomspite Gitz and the Martian Schism, while the Deep Strike panel discuss the first season of Blacktalon, and author Victoria Hayward joins us on Scribes and Scriveners to discuss her work, including last year’s Deathworlder.

And in the player’s club this month, there are two action-packed episodes of Arena of Death – one goes live today, while the other is a “Demolishun Derby” waiting for the green light. Then there’s a Warhammer 40,000 episode of Battle Report, and the second episode of the gang’s time in Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress on Questing Nights, and an in-depth interview with the Warhammer Age of Sigmar rules team on How We Roll.
