It’s finally here – the new edition of Kill Team has dropped in from the clouds with weapons hot. There’s the incredible new Kill Team: Hivestorm boxed set, eight returning kill teams, and special pre-order incentives to go around.

Kill Team: Hivestorm
Kill Team: Hivestorm is the fantastic launch set for the new edition of Kill Team, starring two brand new teams, new terrain, tons of gaming accessories, and the complete rules you need to play. This marks a new era for strategic spec ops skirmishes, with the rules you know and love refined and streamlined into the most action-packed, easy-to-learn game yet.

Both of the kill teams included in Hivestorm are completely new, pitting the grav-chute daredevils of the Tempestus Aquilons against the agile and ferocious Vespid Stingwings – flush with new tech from their T’au Empire allies. There are 22 multi-part miniatures in all, with tons of detail and multiple build options.
The Vespid and Aquilons are fighting amidst the ruins of Killzone: Volkus,* a new set of terrain with multiple vantage points and tall walls to add verticality to the Kill Team experience. A new pack of equipment tokens makes battles an even more tactical affair, now giving operatives the choice of grenades, ladders, barricades, and more to even the odds.
Also included are two rule books – a Core Book full of fundamental rules and the Hivestorm Dossier packed with new lore, missions, and rules for the two teams – plus a set of dice, a double-sided game board, and a huge token sheet packed with useful aids for common rules. The two kill teams also get their own tokens spread across a second sheet, designed specifically for their own unique rules.

If you pre-order Kill Team: Hivestorm directly from Warhammer.com, or purchase it at your local Warhammer store on or after the day of release, you’ll get a free set of 12 bases with wound-counter dials sized so you can outfit any one of the two Hivestorm kill teams with them (10 at 28mm, one at 25mm for the Oversight Drone, and one at 40mm for the Servo-sentry). These are available while stocks last.
Meanwhile, select third-party stockists will have sets of 11 miniature dice trays with space for two dice to track wounds. Speak to your local store manager for more information. These are also available while stocks last.

Kill Team: Core Book
The Core Book is also available to purchase separately in hardback, and comes packaged with the Core Token Sheet. This tome contains all of the rules you need to play missions across three separate killzones – Volkus, Gallowdark, and Bheta-Decima – including the innovative Joint Ops mission pack that lets players cooperate against hordes of Non-Player Operatives controlled by the game itself.
Kill Team: Equipment Pack
You can also get the full spread of new equipment in a standalone release. Each Equipment Pack contains 30 pieces of universal equipment available to every kill team, plus a fair of handy range markers.
Kill Team: Approved Operations Card Pack 2024
Likewise, the Approved Ops Card Pack included in Kill Team: Hivestorm gets a standalone release. This essential deck of 36 includes one Game Sequence card, three Scouting Step cards, 12 Tac Ops cards, nine Crit Ops cards, one Kill Op card, six Primary Op cards, and four Map Key cards, plus a fold-out leaflet explaining how to use the deck and two Mission Map leaflets containing six maps each for Killzones: Volkus, Gallowdark, and Bheta-Decima, and six non-specific maps.
Killzone: Bheta-Decima and Killzone: Gallowdark
There are three killzones in the new season of Kill Team, each with their own quirks and rules. The Killzone: Volkus terrain set is included in Kill Team: Hivestorm, while the other two – Killzone Bheta-Decima and Killzone Gallowdark – have returned to complete your collection.
On Bheta-Decima, operatives must contend with the perilous seas below as they leap across platforms to engage their opponents, while Gallowdark presses them into the claustrophobic world of ultra close-quarters combat around blind corners, through hatchways, and across densely packed rooms. Full rules for both are available in the new Core Book.
Kill Team: Drukhari Mandrakes
The ethereal Mandrakes are some of the most terrifying combatants in the galaxy, slipping from their shadowy realm to slaughter their prey in gruesome displays of murderous mayhem. This set of 10 Mandrakes also comes with a unique token sheet built solely for this kill team, featuring tokens designed specifically for their rules and abilities.

Kill Team: Nemesis Claw
Not to be outdone by the Drukhari, the Chaos Space Marines of the Night Lords are sending out their own kill teams to rend and reave innocent worlds. Known as a Nemesis Claw, these bands of despicable killers and sadistic villains use the shadows themselves as their allies, disappearing almost as soon as they appear and leaving nothing but gore and torn bodies in their wake.
