The next major expansion for Kill Team comes to pre-orders just in time for Christmas, joined by a new terrain set and swarms of Tyranids first seen in the Leviathan boxed set. Warhammer Underworlds meanwhile celebrates the upcoming arrival of a new orruk warband, which is joined by the latest Rivals deck.
Please note, everything below is available on a three-week pre-order to account for upcoming holidays, and will be released on the 13th of January 2024.
Kill Team: Salvation
The Gallowdark has crash-landed on an unsuspecting forge world, and even as the inhabitants flee the destruction, enterprising kill teams fight to further their secret agendas amidst crumbling ocean platforms. Kill Team: Salvation is the first major expansion in this new season of Kill Team, pitting the new Scout Squad and Blades of Khaine teams against each other in nine tense spec ops missions high above the toxic seas.
This boxed set contains two complete 10-man kill teams, five pieces of rig apparatus terrain, an 88-page rulebook filled with lore, campaign mechanicus, and new missions, and an exclusive set of team cards and datacards for both factions. You’ll also get all of the punch-out tokens you need to play games from the new expansion, as well as four transfer sheets.
Killzone: Bheta-Decima
This separate box contains all the terrain needed to play thematic missions on a doomed forge world with Killzone: Bheta-Decima, packing a variety of modular gantries and platforms, plus objective markers. This set includes two large, four medium, and two small gantries, a massive Ferratonic Furnace, and nine objectives to play out every mission included in the Kill Team: Salvation rulebook.
Killzone: Bheta-Decima also comes with a hardy double-sided game board vital for the new season’s missions, as it plots out dangerous sea zones in the centre of the killzone that play a huge part in the latest rules. This is one terrain set you won’t want to miss.
Daggok’s Stab-Ladz
Daggok Finksteala has a simple goal in mind – become a Killaboss – and believes the best way to go about it is to decapitate the brightest fighters he comes across until their wise ways rub off on him… Whether or not he’s on the road to greatness, his vicious cronies will do anything they can to help out, ambushing enemies and lopping off heads throughout the Deathgorge.
Daggok’s Stab-ladz includes four new Kruleboyz fighters for Warhammer: Underworlds, along with a brand new 32-card Rivals deck specifically designed for this warband. Their aggressive play style rewards advanced planning through the use of unique Scheme cards, which have a delay before scoring that forces players to think ahead and manipulate their opponent into exactly the kinds of situations that award the most glory.*
Malevolent Masks Rivals Deck
Expand your Rivals, Nemesis, and Championship format games of Warhammer Underworlds with the Malevolent Masks Rivals Deck, containing 32 new cards that introduce a new style of play to the game. By scoring early Objectives, players can equip their fighters with Mask upgrades that propel them to greater heights, and snowball into the late game with a huge power advantage.
This deck can be used as-is or split up into your own custom decks, and can be used by every Warhammer Underworlds warband so far thanks to its lack of Spell Gambits.
Horrors of the Hive
The big hitters of the Leviathan boxed set return in a terrifying Tyranid two-fer, featuring the ravenous Screamer-Killer and the oppressive psychic Neurotyrant. These single-pose plastic Horrors of the Hive are deadly additions to your hive fleet, tearing the toughest targets apart in close combat and scrambling their brains with a furious mental onslaught.
Tyranid Prime
Lead your flying forces into battle with the winged Tyranid Prime, a highly mobile node of synaptic power that delivers the leadership of the Hive Mind to distant battlefields while larger, scarier beasts are engaged at the front lines. This single-pose plastic miniature packs loads of detail into a compact package, and is a great Leader for units of Tyranid Warriors and Gargoyles.
Psychophage
The Psychophage is a monstrous multi-legged bioform that devours enemy warriors whole before expelling them as a thick psychocorrosive miasma from the vents on its back. Its specialised role as a biomass harvester gives it powerful bonuses when attacking already-wounded units, while its potent aura allows nearby allies to shrug off terrible injuries like they’re nothing.**
Von Ryan’s Leapers
The leaping Tyranid bioforms known as Von Ryan’s Leapers were first rumoured to exist back in the third edition of Warhammer 40,000, and now they finally come bounding from the jungles in a storm of claws and teeth. This unit of three dedicated melee specialists ranges ahead of the main Tyranid swarm and ambushes unlucky prey, forming powerful Vanguard hosts alongside Lictors and the infamous Deathleaper.
Neurogaunts
The Hive Mind controls its swarms through a vast synaptic network transmitted by larger Tyranids, though this leaves these nodes vulnerable when the leader-beasts are brought down. Enter the Neurogaunts – skittering servants to their towering tyrants that relay synapse signals across a wide area, while keeping a low profile amidst hordes of Hormagaunts and Termagants.
Alpha Legion Saboteur Consul
The Alpha Legion have perfected the art of slipping massive power-armoured warriors unseen behind enemy lines, and the Saboteur Consul is a true exemplar of their skills. This Forge World resin miniature is the perfect way to represent your own Saboteur consuls on the battlefield, and is dripping with XX Legion style from the serpentine scales on its armour to the sinister crested helm.
