Black Library Submissions Policy

Introductions

Games Workshop’s Black Library division is currently running an open submissions period for writers to submit short writing samples. We are looking for talented writers to pen a writing sample based on two (2) existing Games Workshop characters contained only within Games Workshop’s existing settings and worlds, and which have had a miniature made of them by Games Workshop.

Submissions

Thank you for your interest in submitting your work to Games Workshop. Our hobby is a creative one that provides an abundance of opportunities for imaginations to flex their muscles and create new stories, to be enjoyed by hobby lovers no matter what parts of the hobby they might engage in.

Whilst we love seeing peoples’ excitement for the hobby, along with the characters and stories that go alongside it, it is important that all submissions you wish to make comply with the rules laid out in this document.

No matter what type of submission you wish to make, please ensure you have read and fully understand all of the following information before sending anything to Games Workshop.
