Saturday Pre-orders – Stick it to the Evil Sun with the Gitmob

The Gloomspite Gitz aren’t just cave-dwelling fungus fiends – some of them prefer to tear around the Mortal Realms on the backs of vicious Snarlfangs, and you can join them with their new Battletome.

Battletome: Gloomspite Gitz

The Gloomspite Gitz are the most devious, cunning, and downright vicious of all the forces of Destruction – an unpredictable swarm of fungus-addled grots who wreak havoc with madcap schemes and mystifying magics. The Snarlfang-riding Gitmob now join their moon-worshipping cousins in Battletome: Gloomspite Gitz.

This new book contains extensive background lore, artwork, and miniatures galleries, as well the rules and warscrolls you need to field an army of eccentric grots and their monstrous allies. It also contains rules for a Spearhead based around the new Gitmob units, two Armies of Renown, and updated Path to Glory rules with Anvil of Apotheosis options for forging your own Gitboss.

Battletome: Gloomspite Gitz (Gamer’s Edition)

Get all of the same content as the full-size Battletome in a smaller, portable form fit for tableside with the Gamer’s Edition of Battletome: Gloomspite Gitz, which also includes a full set of reference cards so you can have your most important rules and warscrolls close at hand..

Droggz da Sunchompa

Some say that Droggz da Sunchompa is the fiercest and bravest leader the Gitmob has ever seen, leading his riders from the front atop a massive, wizened Snarlfang named Jaggedsnarl. Other, quieter voices whisper that Jaggedsnarl himself is the real brains behind the operation, and that it’s no coincidence that he’s outlived so many of the warriors to sit upon his saddle.

Whatever the truth may be, Droggz is the foremost leader of his kind, and the perfect general for your Gitmob forces. The kit comes with two head options for Droggz – one helmeted, the other unhelmeted.

Snarlboss and Wolfgit Retinue

The Snarlboss and Wolfgit Retinue were previously available as Rippa’s Snarlfangs in Warhammer Underworlds, and now return as a hero and his Wolfgit goons.

Snarlboss on War-Wheela

The most successful Snarlbosses show off their power and station by riding to battle on thundering War-wheelas, which smash through the big ‘uns with unstoppable force while the rider cheerfully lays about with his chain basha. This multi-part plastic kit can also be assembled as a Frazzlegit Shaman on War-wheela, adding a touch of magical power to the mobile Gitmob forces.

Sunsteala Wheelas

Despite their fragile frames, Sunsteala Wheelas slam into their foes with surprising force while the Gitmob riders stab and slash at anything in reach. Each pack builds two Sunsteala Wheelas with a wide variety of customisation options, including interchangeable crew, wheels, banner poles, decorations, and more.

Snarlpack Cavalry

Snarlpack Cavalry are a lethal pairing of giant slavering Snarlfangs and two grot riders. The result is some of the fastest and most vicious cavalry in the Mortal Realms – so long as the riders continue to assert their dominance over their mount.

Each set of Snarlpack Cavalry builds three miniatures with interchangeable heads for both mounts and riders, as well as the option to build one as a Champion with a unique banner pole and rider.

Doom Diver Catapult

Taller, stupider people make war machines that fire inaccurate metal balls and pieces of sharp wood. Only the Gloomspite Gitz are genius enough to develop their own guided artillery by strapping wings and explosive helmets to the comrades they like the least, creating the almighty Doom Diver Catapult.

This incredible miniature can be built with its unfortunate projectile either cranked back into the firing position or mid-launch, with alternate head options for all members of the crew.

Gloomspite Gitz Dice Set

Call upon the Bad Moon to bless this set of 16 Gloomspite Gitz dice, cast in yellow plastic with black ink pips with its grinning visage on the six face.

White Dwarf 510

The latest issue of White Dwarf takes a trip to Middle-earth™ to cover the new edition of the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game™ alongside a battle report. It also digs into the new miniatures based on The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim™, while Warhammer 40,000 fans can look forward to an in-depth examination of Aeldari design accompanied by rules for a Harlequins Combat Patrol.

Elsewhere the Orruk Warclans star in the latest Flashpoint for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and the final part of the Tatters of Hope story by William Crowe reveals the fate of the Kasrkin.*
