Codex Supplement: Blood Angels

The sons of Sanguinius are plunging from orbit to thrust a roaring chainsword into the Emperor’s enemies with Codex Supplement: Blood Angels. This is your complete guide to a renowned Chapter, with lashings of background art, enthralling lore, and unique rules – three Detachments, 18 Datasheets, and Crusade rules in which your units and heroes can join the Death Company or the Sanguinary Guard.

A collector’s edition of this Codex Supplement is available for those most devout followers of Sanguinius. It features special art, gold-foil blocking, gilt page edges, and a black ribbon bookmark, certain to stave off the Black Rage for one more battle. It is only available while stocks last.

Astorath the Grim

All Blood Angels are susceptible to the Black Rage. Those who fall to this terminal affliction are inducted into the Death Company and sent to battle in order to earn honour in death. Should they survive, it is the duty of High Chaplain Astorath the Grim to grant them the Emperor’s Peace with one final swing of his axe. He enters battle wearing a winged jetpack and stylised armour, a harbinger for enemy and ally alike.

Lemartes, Guardian of the Lost

Only a scant handful of Blood Angels touched by the Black Rage have not felt the cold bite of the executioner’s axe. Lemartes, Guardian of the Lost, is one of these precious few: he somehow remains lucid despite suffering the Flaw of Sanguinius. Awoken in times of need to lead his afflicted brethren into battle, Lemartes ensures that they find their honourable end in savage combat.

The Sanguinor

The angelic form of the Sanguinor appears with neither warning nor reason, turning the tide of the Blood Angels’ most desperate battles. No-one knows who he truly is, nor why his appearances are so interlinked with the activities of Commander Dante. He throws himself at the toughest opponents with his encarmine broadsword, emboldening all who witness this gilded angel swooping into the fray.

Blood Angels Captain

Rage is not the only thing Sanguinius left to his sons – the Blood Angels maintain a keen sense of aesthetics, pursuing art and grace with the same single-mindedness with which they hone their martial skills. The Blood Angels Captain exemplifies this dichotomy in ornate artificer armour. He has a choice of two pistols, three melee weapons, three heads, and various cosmetic options.

Sanguinary Priest

The Apothecaries of the Blood Angels have a double duty – to both tend to the wounds of their battle brothers, and to perform ministrations to embrace the Red Thirst before those afflicted by it are unleashed upon their enemies with controlled fury. The Sanguinary Priest comes with several cosmetic options – he can brandish his chainsword or keep it sheathed, and he has a choice of three heads, one helmeted and two bare.

Sanguinary Guard

Clad in masterwork golden armour and bearing sacred relics of their Chapter, the Sanguinary Guard are the unparalleled elite of the Blood Angels, with a legacy that can be traced all the way back to the Horus Heresy.

This multi-part plastic kit builds three Sanguinary Guard. Each comes with two head choices, and can be built with encarmine blades or spears. One miniature has a choice of angelus bolt pistol or inferno pistol, while another can choose to take a Sanguinary Banner alongside their encarmine spear.*

Blood Angels Upgrades and Transfers

The Blood Angels Upgrades and Transfers set provides all sorts of sanguinary accoutrements to turn your basic Space Marines into fully-fledged Blood Angels. It contains 27 shoulder pads for a variety of unit types, 19 cosmetic accessories for infantry and vehicles, five heads, an eviscerator chainsword for the Death Company, weapon and head options for regular and Death Company Sergeants, and alternate weapons, heads, and a chest piece for a Terminator Sergeant. Also included is a new Blood Angels transfer sheet with 225 transfers.

Blood Angels Datacards

The Blood Angels Datacards pack contains 18 quick reference datasheet cards – three for your Combat Patrol and 15 for your Codex units – with which you can quickly access your rules at the table.

Blood Angels Dice Set

Bring an additional flash of Blood Angels flair to your games with the Blood Angels Dice Set, containing 16 red gem effect dice with gold pips and the Blood Angels faction icon on the 6 face.

Sisters of Battle Canoness with Jump Pack

Whether plummeting from the skies, or launching themselves into the thick of combat, the Canoness with Jump Pack is an exemplar of her Order, combining raw martial prowess with strategic insight. Posed in flight, she can be equipped with a blessed halberd, a holy eviscerator, or a ministorum hand flamer and power weapon. She also comes with three head choices: hooded, bare, and with respirator.

Genestealer Cults Benefictus

The Benefictus has been gifted by generations of breeding with a swollen cranium and the psychic will of the Broodmind – which they focus into a beam of energy that can lance through tank armour, with the waves that emanate filling survivors with a deep feeling of dread.
