When the Goff Rocker is on tour he provides the soundtrack for krumpin’ by firing off red-hot riffs.
Despite flawless fretwork, even this virtuoso feels most at home when backed up by a band. Community member Ray Parker (@TG_ZoBo) watched the fantastic music video for ‘Ere We Go and managed to fulfil the Rocker’s ludicrous rider.* He’s built Da Rokkwagon – modelled closely on the vehicle seen in the video – and sent the band on an explosive tour around the 41st Millennium.
Ray: Several years ago, I got hold of several classic Goff Rocker models. Even though they didn't technically have rules, they were such characterful models and I just needed to make them a part of my Waaagh! Really, they needed to be on tour – on a proper kustom wagon. So, after some lootin' and tinkerin', Da Rokkwagon was born – and it’s still easily one of my favourite projects.
Years later, the Goff Rocker has returned, with a gorgeous new miniature and his own music video. Even better, he’s cruising around on a kustom wagon that's effectively a bigger and meaner version of mine. This was a sign… time for an upgrade!
Building the Stage
I started off by building a basic Battlewagon, added some floor sections from a terrain kit for the stage, and some Baneblade sponsons to the sides for the small lower speakers.
I constructed the larger speakers from styrene sheet, sprue, Sector Mechanicus pipeline caps, modelling putty, and Ork glyph plates. The front ram used the front doors from a Gorkanaut and the side panels of the original Battlewagon ram, with some added styrene scrap panels.
Forming the Band
The Goff Rocker plays a mean solo, but he needs his bandmates! The drummer is an Orruk Warchanter which I built without the armour, and filled the gaps and sculpted missing muscles with modelling putty. I added modified hands from Ork Nobz, with “drumstikkbombs”. The drum kit was made from a couple of fuel drums, a Tankbusta bomb, and a few bits of sprue.
The guitarists are Nobz with modified hands. Their sideburns and mohawks were made from Ork topknots, trimmed to fit, and the sunglasses are modelling putty. The guitars were made from lengths of sprue, large skull bits, carved styrene, and actual guitar string for the strings!

* Also on the rider were a ton of gitz ta boss around, ded nice ’air squigs, speshul gubbinz (da shinier da better), and a pit full of squigs ta bounce around on.
