Heroes and villains abound in the worlds of Warhammer, and it’s Black Library that brings us their stories time and time again. There are tidings of further tomes this week, including a brand new Gotrek novel from David Guymer – but what's the curmudgeonly slayer up to this time?
Deep in Ghyran lies Greywater Fastness, a city of industry that belches black clouds into the sky, its streets packed with peril even while the Dreadwood Sylvaneth battle against its creeping expansion. Gotrek arrives in this city with questions to ask about his mysteriously waning Fyreslayer rune, hoping he might find answers in its teeming streets.
Deep below this bustling city, madcap skaven warlocks are building a contraption. Perhaps this is the device that will provide Gotrek with what he’s been looking for all along – a worthy death. You’ll have to read Verminslayer to find out, but we’re sure it’s going to be much less straightforward than that.
The Primarchs Collection: Visions of Glory and Despair is a special set of 20 individually sleeved art prints measuring 320 x 297mm, capturing the unmistakable appearances of the infamous Primarchs, plus Horus as the traitorous Warmaster, and the Emperor resplendent.
All 20 prints come collected in a decorative clamshell box with soft-touch matt lamination and foil details.
Finally, a classic Aaron Dembski-bowden tale is getting the special edition treatment. The Emperor’s Gift follows two aspirants as they are put through the intensive regime of psychic training to join the vaunted ranks of the 666th Chapter. They’ll need all the help they can get, as the threat of Chaos looms larger than ever, and only the daemon-hunting Grey Knights can turn the tide.
The special edition is signed by the author, bound in a faux-leather cover with silver-printed details, and completed with a grey ribbon bookmark.
We’ll have news of the release of all three editions soon. Keep your eye on Warhammer Community for all the latest Black Library news.
