There’s a Waaagh! mustering on the horizon this week as the Orc & Goblin Tribes prepare to smash some heads in the World of Legend. The Solar Auxilia are meanwhile mobilising for the Loyalist and Traitor causes in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy.
Orc & Goblin Tribes Battalion
Engulf World of Legend in a howling green tide by building your army around the Orc & Goblin Tribes Battalion – a diverse collection of core troops including 31 Orc Boyz (seven frames of four bodies plus one command sprue), 40 Goblins who can wield spears and shields, or shortbows, and two Orc Boar Chariots. It also comes with new transfer sheets for both your Orcs and Goblins, with a wide variety of crude icons and images to accessorise your horde.*
Arcane Journal: Orc & Goblin Tribes
Expand your Orc & Goblin Tribes army with this optional 48-page paperback supplement featuring additional rules, characters, and lore. Alongside new Special Characters and Armies of Infamy, Arcane Journal: Orcs & Goblin Tribes also includes a unique historical scenario, rules for Bonecrusher Giants and Troll Hags, and a brand new spell lore to crush your opponents with – a must-have for dedicated Warbosses.*
Orc & Goblin Tribes Reference Card Pack
Spend less time digging through books and more time smashing things with this set of 36 reference cards for Orc & Goblin Tribes armies. This pack contains handy summaries for your Magic Weapons, Magic Armour, Talismans, Magic Standards, Enchanted Items, Arcane Items, Useful Rules, the Lore of Gork, and the Lore of Mork, which make it invaluable when the fighting gets fierce and you need eyes on the battlefield at all times.*
Black Orc Bigboss
Lead your army into battle with the brutal authority of a Black Orc Bigboss – a monstrous mountain of mean, green violence with a surprisingly cunning streak. This Forge World resin miniature has a natural Toughness characteristic of 5, which combined with full plate armour makes them difficult to bring down, while the rigid discipline common among Black Orcs serves to anchor these natural leaders in the centre of your battle line.**
Orc Warboss on Wyvern
If a Warboss can’t wait to get stuck in, they take to the skies on the back of the only creatures quite as violent and hardy as they are – Wyverns. This monstrous Forge World resin and plastic kit has been remastered from the classic metal original, and scatters enemy troops with powerful Strength 5 attacks and great sweeps of its tail.**
Troll Hag
Troll Hags are revolting creatures with a unique grasp on the magical arts, and can often be found alongside Orc and Goblin hordes sharing their natural resilience with allies, granting the Resilience (5+) rule. This Forge World resin miniature is a perfect character to support a Troll-heavy force, or bulk up your Boyz before a massive headlong charge.**
Orc Command Set
All Orcs need strong leaders to direct their reckless aggression, but even the loudest Warbosses can struggle to have their orders heard over the din of a calamitous Waaagh! That’s why many task one of their more disciplined Bigbosses with carrying a massive Battle Standard to give their Boyz something to rally around, and now you can add these two crucial Forge World resin characters to your army with the Orc Command Set.**
Night Goblin Command Set
The responsibilities of command aren’t limited to Orcs, and some Night Goblin commanders manage to avoid being stabbed in the back long enough to assume the mantle of leadership. This pack contains three Forge World resin characters to lead your armies: a Night Goblin Warboss on Giant Cave Squig, a Night Goblin Bigboss with a Battle Standard, and a rather smoky Night Goblin Shaman caught in an outburst of fungal magic.**
Orc Bosses
More classic kits return to the Orc & Goblin Tribes range, starting with a pair of plastic Orc Bosses. One mounts a ferocious Boar while the other marches on foot, and both can be customised with a wide range of weaponry and cosmetic options – including great weapons, choppas and shields, and battle standards.***
Orc Boyz
Orc Boyz are the lifeblood of any self-respecting Waaagh!, and you’ll need plenty to begin your conquest of the World of Legend in earnest. This set includes 31 plastic miniatures that can be built with thrusting spears and shields, hand weapons and shields, or paired hand weapons, plus all the parts to add a full command set and a new Orc transfer sheet.***
Orc Shaman
Waaagh! magic is unpredictable at the best of times, and Orc Shamans are some of the only beings with the brainpower to truly utilise its anarchic effects. This metal Orc Shaman is a great way to add a touch of mystical power to your army, although his allies might want to give him a wide berth when their heads start throbbing.**
Orc Big ‘Uns Command
The elite Orcs known as Big ‘Uns are some of the meanest fighters around, and it takes a powerful personality to keep them in line. This Orc Big ‘Uns Command set includes three metal miniatures to represent a champion, standard bearer, and musician, so your strongest Boyz can keep fighting effectively.**
Orc Big ‘Uns
Big ‘Uns are second only to the infamous Black Orcs in strength and stature, and entire mobs of them can turn the tide of a losing battle in a frenzy of brutal butchery. This set includes five metal Orc Big ’Uns equipped with hand weapons and shields, giving you the option to upgrade your Boyz into a more powerful and reliable unit.**
Giant
Although solitary creatures by nature, Giants can often be coaxed into following an Orc and Goblin horde with promises of food and fighting wherever they go. On the battlefield they’re powerful – if blundering – combatants whose immense strength and size overpowers all but the mightiest of opponents, and this Forge World resin kit includes one such Giant with two different head options (and a terrified Empire soldier at their feet).**
Bonegrinder Giant
Giants continue to grow as they get older, and some reach truly enormous proportions that stretch their gangly limbs to their limits. Known as Bonegrinder Giants – as much for feasting on unfortunate villagers as their awkward frames – they present a nigh-insurmountable threat to civilised lands, crushing ‘stunties’ underfoot and smashing equally massive monsters into the ground with pulverising headbutts.
This huge Forge World resin kit is one of the largest ever produced for Warhammer: The Old World, and its rules can be found in Arcane Journal: Orc & Goblin Tribes.**
Night Goblin Bosses
Lead your Goblin mobs into battle with a pack of four metal Night Goblin Bosses, equipped with a variety of weapons. Each miniature can be used to represent either a Night Goblin Warboss or Bigboss, and are experts at fighting Dwarfs in the twisting tunnels beneath the Worlds Edge Mountains.****
Night Goblin Shamans
Night Goblin Shamans combine the cunning of their cloaked kin with awesome magical powers bolstered by any number of strange fungal brews. This pack of three metal Shamans is a great way to add Illusion Magic and Waaagh! Magic to your force, and each model can be fielded either as an entry-level Oddgit or a powerful Oddnob.**
Goblin Bosses
Regular Goblins need (relatively) powerful leaders to keep their rowdy mobs in line. Goblin Bosses are cunning and capable leaders with a knack for avoiding harm, and you can add three of them to your army – armed with a great weapon, hand weapon and shield, and twin hand weapons – in a pack of three classic metal miniatures.**
Goblin Shamans
Supplement your bitey, stabby Goblin mobs with a touch of the arcane with a pair of Goblin Shamans, cast in metal and featuring all manner of highly detailed trinkets dangling from their shabby clothes. Each Shaman can harness either Elementalism or Waaagh! Magic, and like the Night Goblins, they can be fielded as either Oddgits or Oddnobs.**
Goblin Wolf Rider Bosses
Lead your flanking forces of Goblin Wolf Riders on hell-for-leather charges with a pair of metal Goblin Wolf Rider Bosses, cast in metal with plastic wolf mounts. One carries a long cavalry spear while the other has a hand weapon and shield, and both are great additions to your Waaagh!’s cavalry wing.**
Goblin Nasty Skulkers
Some Goblins elevate the time-honoured tradition of a good backstab to an artform, and hide among teeming Goblin Mobs waiting for the perfect moment to leap out and shank their target. Known as Nasty Skulkers by those who have little patience for their villainy, this pack of three metal miniatures are a great way to add some surprise armour-piercing damage to an otherwise unassuming horde of Goblins – and with no way to deploy them on their own, they’ll need a few friends around to plant their feet on the battlefield.**
Goblin Wolf Chariot
Why walk when you can ride? Goblin Wolf Chariots are surprisingly well-built war machines prized by their lucky crews, pulled by ferocious wolves and packing enough mass to careen straight through lines of swordsmen and archers. This set includes one metal chariot and crew pulled by plastic wolves, who can race across the battlefield and even keep up with ranging squadrons of Goblin Wolf Riders.**
Snotling Mobs
If you thought Goblins were the lowest on the totem pole, think again. Snotlings are truly contemptible creatures, good for little more than harassing enemy forces while larger, stronger warriors get into position for a good charge. This set of Snotling Mobs includes four bases of metal Snotlings who band together in roving swarms, and while they are individually weak, sheer weight of numbers can prove to be surprisingly resilient and can often drag down an unsuspecting foe.**
Snotling Pump Wagon
Quite who taught the Snotlings how to assemble Pump Wagons is a mystery, but the destruction trailed behind these ramshackle war machines is hard to dent. Powered entirely by the feverish efforts of its Snotling crew, this metal miniature is built solely to careen into enemy lines while its rowdy riders hurl makeshift weapons at those lucky enough to avoid its deadly scythed wheels.**
Goblin Rock Lobber
While Orcs respect little more than a good up-close scrap, Goblins are far more pragmatic, and will gladly hurl rocks at their opponents from as far away as possible. This metal Rock Lobber comes with three Goblin crew and a vicious Orc Bully to keep them working hard, with loads of incredible details like the Orc face carved into the counterweight.**
Goblin Bolt Throwa
While Rock Lobbers are great for disrupting formations of closely packed troops, Bolt Throwas have a more accurate, personal touch – hurling massive barbed bolts that punch through armour like paper and skewer the poor meaty creature within. One metal Bolt Throwa comes with three Goblin crew, and its attacks are so powerful that a good solid shot can pierce multiple ranks!**
Doom Diver Catapult
Even though Goblins are better shots than their Orc counterparts, a simple rock hurled through the sky is still inaccurate at the best of times. Wouldn’t it be nice if a really smart Goblin could direct the payload to its target, ensuring a solid hit every time?
Why, yes it would, and the Doom Diver Catapult provides. This incredible metal miniature is one of the most recognisable parts of the entire range, and despite their absurd appearance the ‘smart’ missiles it launches are deadly weapons capable of splattering enemy troops with unerring accuracy.**
Common Trolls
Trolls are a common sight when the armies of the Badlands go to war, where their natural regeneration and brute strength makes them a great fit for the wanton violence of a Waaagh! This set includes two metal Trolls that can be fielded as a Common Troll Mob of up to nine models, with each miniature equipped with scaly hides, clubs, and a revolting vomit attack.**
Badlands Ogre Bulls
Cunning Warbosses are quite happy to enlist the services of Ogre mercenaries, who in turn are glad to offer their strength and fortitude in return for the plentiful food and fighting to be found on the green horde’s warpath. This set of five metal Badlands Ogre Bulls features a variety of weapons and a battle standard for the unit, and units of these ravenous brutes can be taken in any Grand Army that includes a Mercenaries contingent.**
Orc & Goblin Tribes Dice Set
Match your Waaagh! to their knucklebones with this set of green Orcs & Goblin Tribes dice, featuring a swirled metallic effect, red pips, and the faction logo on the six face. Each pack contains 20 dice, including 18 regular six-sided dice, one scatter dice, and one artillery dice.*
Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – The Battle for Beta-Garmon
Take part in the battle that opened the gates to Terra in the next campaign supplement for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. In The Battle for Beta-Garmon, colossal forces clash as Loyalists counterattack into the critical Garmon Cluster and the largest Titan-on-Titan engagements of the war lay waste to entire worlds.
This book is available in hardback and digital ePub editions, and contains a complete summary of the apocalyptic war for Beta-Garmon, full rules for fielding Shattered Legions and Blackshields armies, new ways to add Solar Auxilia forces to your Space Marine Legions, and an in-depth campaign system for linking your battles into a greater overall storyline. If that wasn’t enough, rules for additional Legiones Astartes and Solar Auxilia units are included – such as the Hermes and Aethon Sentinels – and notable characters like the grim Shadrak Meduson.*****
Solar Auxilia Veletaris Storm Section
The Solar Auxilia are mankind’s finest mortal armies, and even among their illustrious ranks the Veletaris Storm Sections hold a special prestige. These seasoned troops attack the strongest defensive points head-on, trusting in their intense training and exceptional equipment to see them prevail – even, at times, against the Space Marines.
This set contains 10 plastic Veletaris Storm Section troopers, who can be equipped with volkite chargers or vicious storm axes, which can slay enemy models outright on a lucky roll. The squad leader also has access to a wide assortment of weapon options, from a blast pistol or needle pistols to a power fist or charnabal tabar.*****
Solar Auxilia Tactical Command Section
Each cohort of the Solar Auxilia is made up of multiple tercios led by Command Sections, where officers are aided in their charge by capable command staff and bodyguards. This highly customisable kit can build several different command units for your Solar Auxilia – either a Tactical Command Section for overseeing your army with a Captain or Marshal, a Line Command Section to lead an Infantry Tercio alongside several Lasrifle Sections, or a high-ranking Legate Marshal with an accompanying team of Lifeward Bodyguards.
Whichever option you choose, each set will build five miniatures with many different equipment options, including a cohort vexilla, command vox, and augury scanner. The officer themself has access to 13 different weapon choices, with the Legate Marshal even able to take rare wargear like a thunder hammer or archaeotech pistol.*****
Solar Auxilia Lasrifle Section
Lasrifle Sections are the backbone of a Solar Auxilia force, and are often arranged into larger groupings called Tercios overseen by a Line Command Section. Each trooper wears fully sealed void armour and carries a dependable lasrifle, which can even bring down the vaunted Space Marines with enough focused fire.
This box of 20 multipart plastic miniatures comes with several equipment options for the squad leader, a vexilla, a vox interlock, and optional bayonets for every model.*****
Solar Auxilia Malcador Heavy Tank
Solar Auxilia armoured companies make use of many patterns of tanks, and one of the most common is the venerable Malcador Heavy Tank. This surprisingly speedy behemoth packs three choices of main weapon for the turret – a battle cannon, Vanquisher battle cannon, or Gravis lascannons – six different weapons for the front hull mount, and five sponson weapon options, plus three pintle-mounted weapons and a wide variety of other option equipment.*****
Solar Auxilia Leman Russ Strike Tank
An advanced pattern of the ubiquitous Leman Russ tank was made available to the elite Solar Auxilia, upgrading its iconic design with their distinctive brass trim, environmental systems, and a plethora of weapon options. The Strike Tank variant totes either a battle cannon, Vanquisher battle cannon, Gravis lascannons, or Gravis autocannons, and comes with a further five weapons to choose from for the front hull.*****
Solar Auxilia Leman Russ Assault Tank
Variants of the Leman Russ with a more close-ranged lean were designated as Assault Tanks, and given access to a demolisher cannon, volkite macro-saker, or executioner plasma cannon for their main turret weapon. They are otherwise equipped the same as their Strike Tank counterparts, with a wide variety of accessory parts (including square and round hatch options) and two Tank Commander choices.*****
Solar Auxilia Dracosan Armoured Transport
The Malcador chassis was used as the basis for many other tanks throughout the Horus Heresy, such as the Dracosan Armoured Transport – a cavernous troop carrier that could fit 20 fully equipped Auxiliaries in its hold while dishing out respectable firepower from its hull-mounted weapons. The Dracosan can be taken as a Dedicated Transport option for many different kinds of Solar Auxilia Tercios, allowing it to transport multiple units and cut down on the number of Force Organisation slots your army needs.*****
Solar Auxilia Aethon Heavy Sentinel
When flanking forces need to back up their speed with heavy firepower, Solar Auxilia commanders reach for the Aethon Heavy Sentinel. This multipart plastic kit retains most of the speed and mobility of its lighter cousins, but with a much more durable frame and access to several types of heavy weapon – such as a reliable multi-laser, powerful melta lance, and its signature Aethon rocket pods.*****
Solar Auxilia Vehicle Markings Transfer Sheet
Accessorise your motor pool with a massive sheet of Solar Auxilia Vehicle Marking transfers. This sheet of 1,057 transfers – count ‘em – includes markings for 13 different cohorts and over 280 general honorifics to further customise your vehicles, from campaign badges to unit numbers.*****
Blackshields Transfer Sheet
Blackshield companies were distinguished by a wide variety of badges and banners, often pledging allegiance to a magnetic commander, and a number of these sigils earned a dreadful infamy over the course of the Horus Heresy. This classic sheet of Blackshields Transfers contains 829 individual transfers for troops and vehicles, from glorious unit icons to intricate scrawls known only to their writers.*****
Renegades: Lord of Excess
The Emperor’s Children know they are meant for great things, as befits the most perfect and immaculate of Heretic Astartes, and Xantine – leader of the warband known as the Adored – is tired of raiding backwater settlements. When a tantalising prize presents itself, he and his fellow Chaos Space Marines make plans to claim a tenacious Imperial bastion for their own in Lord of Excess by Rich McCormick.
