The duplicitous warriors of the XX Legion get the JOYTOY treatment with a trio of awesome new action figures starring the Primarch himself – Alpharius.
Like his brothers Horus, Rogal Dorn, Magnus and Sanguinius, Alpharius is an immensely detailed figure standing approximately 7.5” tall with 28 points of articulation, replicating the beautiful Forge World resin miniature with outstanding attention to detail. All of his signature wargear is recreated from the deadly Pale Spear down to the Pythian Scales – his artificer power armour.
Alpharius also comes with The Hydra’s Spite, his archaeotech plasma blaster, and four alternate hands to help pose his weapons appropriately. This figure is a must-get for fans of the Alpha Legion, and having the mysterious gaze of the Threefold Serpent keeping watch from your shelf can only be a good thing.
Omegon isn’t the only member of the XX Legion joining the JOYTOY Horus Heresy range, as the Alpha Legion’s specialist Saboteur Consul sneaks onto the scene with shotgun cocked and knife in hand. These sinister agents of sabotage are masters of crippling enemy infrastructure and winning battles before the first shot is fired – both things that make them highly prized battle brothers in the Alpha Legion.
Sometimes, however, the time for stealth has passed and even the XX Legion know when subtlety can take a back seat to raw, uncompromising violence. Those legionary heroes interred within a Contemptor Dreadnought know this well, and the bloody swathes they cut through enemy ranks with their gravis plasma cannons and massive crushing fists are often the final word in a failed negotiation.
These monstrous machines stand a respectable 9.5” tall and are sure to dominate your desk where lesser action figures cower. Just remember, if you lose one, two more must take its place.
