More Scorching Warhammer Events to Brighten Up Your Summer

Summers in the UK can often be wet and woolly affairs, but Warhammer World is fighting back with a string of sizzling hot events – including a massive doubles weekender for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy.

Don’t worry if you’re not in our green and pleasant land, however, as tickets for the mighty US Open tour are still on sale – for now. These are the biggest Warhammer events in the US calendar, and have something awesome to do for every kind of Warhammer fan.

As well as nail-biting Matched Play tournaments that qualify their winners for the World Championship of Warhammer, the US Open events in Dallas, Tacoma, and Tampa Bay feature weekend-long hobby challenges, painting masterclasses, and casual clashes across a range of Warhammer games.

Then it all culminates in a massive double-header event in Atlanta, where you can be part of Warhammer history at the Grand Narrative – an epic three-day narrative spectacular that shapes the lore of Warhammer 40,000 itself. It’s a truly unique, in-character event filled with fun scenarios and laid-back gaming with your fellow Warhammer fanatics.

Best of all – guests at the Dallas leg will be able to play the new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar for the first time with live demo games across the weekend and a close look at all the new miniatures.

Muster your Loyalist and Traitor forces for a fun weekend of team-based Matched Play doubles action in Covenant of War, the latest Throne of Skulls event for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. These casual weekends are great for players of all skill levels, as two teammates combine their 1,500-point armies into a 3,000-point force and test their skills against rival teams in five missions from the Siege of Cthonia book. Commanders can claim as much glory for painting skills and great sportsmanship as good generalship.

This event takes place over the weekend of the 20th and 21st of July.
