LISSEN ‘ERE YOO ‘ORRIBLE GROTS! Here come the Orks of the Taktikal Brigade for today’s Grotmas Calendar Detachment.
The Orks of the Blood Axe clan seek to apply their own brand of taktiks to their every engagement. The most cunning of kommanders have adapted the strategies of other species into a unique brand of clandestine warfare that, while comparatively simplistic, remains brutally effective.
Bringing a new level of kunnin’ to Ork warfare, the Lissen ‘Ere rule lets Ork players issue Taktiks through their Warboss and Mek units. Through judicious bellowing and the occasional cracking of a few heads, these leaders can enhance their troops’ sneakin’ prowess, remind them to aim before shootin’, and, when push comes to shove, really get stuck in.
Entirely in keeping with the Blood Axe preference for unkonventional warfare, the Taktikal Brigade grants Stormboyz units the Battleline keyword.
This focus on the fringe elements of Orky kulture continues into the Enhancements and Stratagems. With Mek Kaptin, Ork players can add a Big Mek to their Flash Gitz, so these gun-crazy show-offs can re-roll their Hit rolls, while with Ded Sneaky, they may return Kommandos and Storm Boyz back into Strategic Reserves to strike from an unexpected direction in later turns.
