Earlier in the year we teased that JOYTOY were going to bring us a range of detailed action figures based on miniatures for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, the galaxy-spanning civil war foundational for Warhammer 40,000.
The first figure is now with us, and he’s a real showstopper – Rogal Dorn, the Primarch of the Imperial Fists Legion.
This 1:18 scaled figure of Rogal Dorn is based on the exquisite and iconic Character Series miniature, armed with the colossal chainsword Storm’s Teeth, his personalised bolter Voice of Terra, and the Auric Armour, an ornate suit of power armour fashioned from the same alloy as the Emperor’s own.
The Praetorian of Terra can strike any number of poses using detailed articulation – mimicking the staunch and resolute stance of his Forge World miniature, or charging into combat with bolter and blade raised.
Rogal Dorn joins a massive collection of figures from JOYTOY including the gorgeous upscaled Warhammer 40,000 versions of his brothers in arms, Roboute Guilliman and Lion El’Jonson, and all manner of loyalists, heretics, and even perfidious xenos figures.
We can’t yet reveal precisely what else JOYTOY has coming down the pipe for their Horus Heresy range, but rest assured it’s going to be fantastic – your display cabinets and shelves will have never looked better.
