The Ruination chambers have rapidly become the lynchpin of Sigmar’s strategy during the Hour of Ruin – but they are not the only assets available to the God-King’s strategists. The Warrior and Vanguard chambers have their parts to play now more than ever.
The Liberators on the front lines have been tooled up by Grungni himself, decked out in sleek Thunderstrike armour and holding the line as the Reclusians and Prosecutors unleash their tempered fury.
The Stormstrike Palladors, meanwhile, have been the key to many victories, serving as lightning-swift cavalry who hurtle in to land a decisive blow.
Seconded from the Vanguard chambers, their Gryph-chargers ride the winds Aetheric to flank their foes to deadly effect, adding a new dimension to the core fighting formation.
Their heavy barding slightly reduces their mobility, but their charge is unstoppable, an electrified sledgehammer of golden armour and crackling lances.

The Stormstrike Palladors are often held in reserve until the fighting reaches its most furious. They are Riders of Vengeance: once any friendly Warrior Chamber units have died, they get to reroll their charges and gain Strike-First.
RIDE FOR VENGEANCE
Passive
As Stormcast casualties increase and the battle seems poised upon a knife's edge, an armoured wedge of Stormstrike Palladors crashes into the enemy lines. Driven by a desire to avenge their fallen brethren, these warriors and their avian mounts unleash the fury of the storm on the God-King's foes.
Effect: If any friendly Warrior Chamber units have been destroyed this battle:
• You can re-roll charge rolls for this unit.
• This unit has Strike-First if it charged in the same turn.
When Sigmar’s warriors make forward camps on their increasingly lengthy campaigns, they assemble Stormreach Portals to bring in reinforcements.
Much like the Sigmarite strongpoints constructed by Dawnbringer crusades, these are prefabricated buildings, connected to the network of Star Bridges that all lead back to the Sigmarabulum. Sigmar’s warriors can Step into the Storm crackling at the heart of each portal, and reappearing elsewhere to turn a retreat into a blistering feint that can catch an enemy unaware.

Your Movement Phase
Stormreach Portals are used in battle to redirect the warriors of the Stormcast Eternals to where the fighting is fiercest.
Declare: Pick a friendly non-Monster Stormcast Eternals unit that is not in combat and is wholly within 6" of this terrain feature to be the target.
Effect: Remove the target from the battlefield and set it up again on the battlefield more than 9" from all enemy units.
The Stormstrike Palladors and Stormreach Portals can both be added to your Stormhosts very soon – they will be available to pre-order from Saturday. Tomorrow we will look at the Regiments of Renown available in Battletome: Stormcast Eternals – golden reinforcements available for any other Order army.
