It’s time to start planning your events calendar for 2025. There’s still Golden Demon at Spiel to come, while the US Open Series continues in Tampa Bay, FL ahead of the Grand Narrative and World Championships.

There are massive Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar Grand Tournaments, and you’ll be in with a chance to win a Golden Ticket for the World Championships of Warhammer by winning Best General or Best Overall Player, which is a 50/50 split between hobbying and score.
There are also events for Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team, Warhammer Underworlds, Warhammer: The Horus Heresy - Legions Imperialis, and Blood Bowl.
This is also the last Warhammer 40,000 Narrative event before this year’s all-consuming Warhammer 40,000 Grand Narrative, setting the stage for this immersive Warhammer event.
There’s a wide range of Warhammer goodies available at a fully stocked store, with event-exclusive miniatures, objective markers, and more. Take part in Painting Masterclasses for Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar, or put your modelling skills to the test in the always-popular Hobby Challenge.
Golden Demon at Spiel will be held between the 3rd and 6th of October – which is just next week. Talented individuals from all over Europe and beyond will descend on the city of Essen, competing for trophies in 14 categories and the coveted Slayer Sword.
If you are one of those talented individuals entering Golden Demon this year, please ensure you have completed the entry form for each of your entries. The form can be found here, and this will greatly increase the speed when checking-in your entries.
Once you have entered the competition you can rest assured that your entries are in expert hands as we welcome a previous Slayer Sword winner – Roman Lappat – to the judging panel this year.

Events at Warhammer World
At Warhammer World it isn’t even October yet and we’re already thinking about next year’s events. There’s a sweet selection in January, so shake off that post-Christmas fug with some dice rolling and tense games of Warhammer.
Get ready for a packed day of tackles and touchdowns on the fresh grass of the gridiron (other pitch materials are available) with the one day Blitzing Sevens event. Draft a team for 600,000 Copper Pieces and play four games to demonstrate your prowess on the pitch, and pick up awards for most casualties and most touchdowns.
This event will take place on the 8th of January.
The new edition of Kill Team is just on the horizon, so jump feet first into an event at Warhammer World. Kill Team Critical Strike IV will test your tactical skills over six games taking place over two days. There are also chances to win awards for Favourite Kill Team, Favourite Player, and Best Painted Kill Team.
This event will take place on the weekend of the 11th and 12th of January.
Construct a 3,000-point army and battle to prove your worth as the greatest general of the Horus Heresy in a five game Throne of Skulls event taking place over two days. This event uses the Core Missions found in The Battle for Beta-Garmon campaign book, and, as usual, you can pick up awards for your painting prowess, and your sportsmanship as an opponent.
This event will take place on the weekend of the 18th and 19th of January.
Pair up with a pal and lay claim to the Throne of Skulls in a Warhammer Age of Sigmar doubles event. You’ll craft an army each and command them together against pairs of opponents to take the top spot in a five game event that runs over two days. Exercise your hobby muscles to snag awards for best painted armies, play with a smile to win sporting awards, and aim for the highest score in your grand alliance too!
This event will take place on the weekend of the 25th and 26th of January.
Take a quick break from your studies or job and sign up for a Weekday Warhammer event. For Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Contest of Heroes, you’ll need a 1,000-point army to take part in three games packed into one exciting day of tactical combat in the Mortal Realms, with awards for painting too.
This event will take place on the 24th of January.
