It’s the calm after the Vermindoom in this week’s Sunday Preview, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of cool things to keep every Warhammer fan occupied. You’ll be able to pre-order a shelf-worth of Black Library novels next Saturday – not least the glorious special edition of the latest novel in John French’s Ahriman series.
Ahriman: Undying
Throughout his travels the sorcerer lord of the Thousand Sons has been searching for a way to restore his cursed Legion. Ahriman may just have found his chance in Ahriman: Undying, the fifth novel in the series by John French, as he’s finally got his hands on the Necron device known as the Key of Infinity, but his moment of triumph is solitary.
This novel will be available to pre-order in regular hardback, ebook, and audiobook editions, and also a fantastic Special Edition presented in a leather-effect cover with a gold foil silhouette of Ahriman on the front and printed page edges.
Lelith Hesperax: Queen of Knives
An assassin’s blade drags Lelith Hesperax back to the Dark City for a blood-soaked return to form in the regular release of Mike Brooks’s new novel, Lelith Hesperax: Queen of Knives. Pretenders to Lelith’s crown have infested the arena in her absence, and with Asdrubael Vect himself pulling the strings of a murderous game, her blades may not be enough to save her this time.
Black Library Paperbacks
Two Black Library novels return in paperback releases, featuring the definitive chronicle of Cadia’s destruction in Fall of Cadia by Robert Rath and the showdown between Fabius Bile and Belisarius Cawl in Guy Haley’s Genefather.
Two releases are also available in new paperback and in ebook editions in German for the first time. Siege of Vraks by Steve Lyons follows the Death Korps of Krieg into one of the most devastating sieges since the Horus Heresy and Lazarus: Enmity’s Edge by Gary Kloster tasks the titular Dark Angels captain with aiding an ancient Knight World owed a debt by his chapter.
Wrath of Iron
As foul daemonic hordes begin to swarm into the sub-sector, the Space Marines of the Iron Hands Chapter bring furious retribution to the Slaanesh-worshipping citizens of Contqual in Chris Wraight’s Wrath of Iron, which has been recorded as an MP3 audiobook for the first time.
This week on Warhammer+, Battle Report gets back into the fast-paced world of Combat Patrol as Strike Force Solarien leaps from the pages of White Dwarf magazine to battle Beast-snagga Orks in a head-on showdown – just the way the Orks like it. These Raven Guard infiltrators will also have plenty to like from this week’s episode of Loremasters, which pulls apart the venerable Space Marine Jump Pack to find out how these classic pieces of wargear became an iconic part of the Space Marine armoury.
Here at Warhammer Community, the new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar begins in earnest with daily downloads of core rules, faction packs, and more.
