Spike! Journal Issue 10: Snotlings, Trolls, and More!

Jim: Welcome, sports fans! Bob and I have the pleasure of guiding you through what’s inside the latest instalment of Spike! Journal.

Bob: Yeah, so grab yourself a juicy McMurty’s burger, pour yourself a nice, refreshing pint of Bloodweiser, and relax while we talk you through it.

Jim: That was pretty shameless product placement there, Bob…

Spike! Journal brings you up to date with all the latest news, gossip, interviews, and playbooks from the world of Blood Bowl. If you’re a fan of the beautifully violent game, then each magazine is essential reading!

Issue 10 sees Snotling teams return to the gridiron, along with rising stars (well… relatively speaking), the ‘Mighty’ Crud Creek Nosepickers. You definitely can’t argue with a team that’s won the coveted (not to mention entirely self-titled) award for Best Snotling Team of All Time!

Anyway, here’s what you can look forward to reading in this issue.

As you can see, it’s not all about the Snotlings. If you’ve longed to see the return of the legendary Troll, Ripper Bolgrot, along with his namesake, the chainsaw-wielding Ugroth ‘The Other Ripper’ Bolgrot, and many more Star Players besides, you can read all about their storied careers in Issue 10 too.

You’ll also find regular and highly entertaining columns such as Chat With the Rat and Dirt From the Dugout. There’s even another instalment of the comic strip telling the story of Bob Bifford’s early playing career – suffice it to say, it was an apocalyptically violent one!

It won’t be long before you can get your hands on Issue 10 of Spike! Journal and the Crud Creek Nosepickers (as well as their team pitch and other accessories) – they’re all up for pre-order this Saturday! Until then, head on over to the Blood Bowl Facebook page and let us know which feature of Issue 10 you’re looking forward to reading most.

Jim: And there you have it, sports fans!

Bob: That sure sounds like an action-packed issue, Jim. Makes me wish I was able to read…
