Galen and Doralia ven Denst might be outnumbered – but they’re never outmatched

The heroes of Richard Strachan’s Hallowed Ground and all-round Sigmarite superstars Galen and Doralia ven Denst are two of the most effective witch hunters in the Order of Azyr, and they are as busy as ever with Skaven running riot over the Mortal Realms.

This year’s Boxing Day commemorative miniature – Galen and Doralia: Outnumbered – finds them back-to-back in yet another perilous fracas.

You can tell it’s serious fighting-time as both Galen and Doralia have dropped their stylish witch-hunter’s coats in favour of lighter, more mobile outfits. Each carries their signature weapons, with Galen holstering his spell-banishing pistol in favour of drawing his runic broadsword while Doralia hefts her heavy anti-thaumic crossbow and wears the consecrated blade across her back.

The pair can be assembled on a single 40mm base to create a dynamic display piece that’ll look excellent surrounded by a horde of Clanrats, but they also come with separate 28mm bases, so you can use them as alternatives to their current miniatures in a Cities of Sigmar army.

As you’d expect from their witch-hunting roots, they’re particularly potent when hunting down enemy Wizards and can even banish Manifestations.

You’ll have two chances to pick up this awesome Commemorative Series miniature this Christmas, starting with an in-store only period between the 26th of December and Friday the 3rd of January – make sure to check where your closest Warhammer store is so you know where to go. Available while stocks last.

After that, Galen and Doralia: Outnumbered will be available while stocks last from the online store from Saturday, January 4th, until Sunday, January 12th.

Unfortunately, fans in Australia and New Zealand will have to wait a little longer. They’ll be arriving in stores between the 25th and 31st of January, and online from the 1st until the 13th of February.
